I own a BT Cruiser a long time now. They are very well built and are made the same way they made since 2003. Mines 28 ft with a slide and rear queen bedroom. I never had never had any issues or leaks. WE have 10 I get a solid 11mpg flat towing a Ford ranger. I stay under 65 mph. WE LOVE THIS RV BRAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ill never sell ours perfect for 2 people. I am not fond of the unit in video because no actual bed. But they make other models with a full slide

I own a 5210 with Sofa and Dinette. It’s awesome.
My main drawback is, there is a large space behind TV but not accessible. We need to get that take care on our own.

Love this RV & its layout. You're missing that it's a step up from a narrow van that has a much larger bath & shower.

Very slick unit. Much more room than most vans but only a couple feet longer.
The beds may not be comfortable but the open/close is clever. Kitchen is great. Love the price.

I love it for the office and the short length! I stopped by to watch this video because I saw it get a 4x4 lift kit on another video. Thank you for the honest review on the mattress comfort. I'm disappointed they didn't even try to put in seatbelts. I know sideways is not a prime seatbelt position but something is better than nothing.

Finally something that can do just what I want. Louisiana has been hit hard by Covid. My Son is buried in North Louisiana. I haven't been able to take flowers because of where I would have to stay if we went by car. We are at that age we can't drive 16 hours round trip. Being retired Military we can sleep on just about anything.

  • @largol33t1

Will got the last like spot-on. The kitchen is the best part because Gulf Stream fought to squeeze everything out of it. For a measly 24 feet, I'm amazed they wouldn't compromise and stuffed a full residential size fridge in PLUS a pantry. I've seen some RVs that are bigger than this where the brand (not Gulf Stream) refused to install a pantry closet! That kitchen is pretty cramped but hell, I can live with that. If I have to stand in the bathroom doorway to reach the stove and cook some pasta, I'll do it. The hard cushions aren't an issue. Just buy a roll-up sleeping pad to put over it. I've used one before and it makes a big difference when sleeping on a "rock" sofa/bed.

    I'll fix it:
    Add a cab-over bunk.
Replace the curb-side sofa with an office desk and hutch.
Replace the traffic-side sofa with a bookshelf and shallow cabinets / filing cabinets.
Toss out the table. Toss the TV and stereo, you have a computer for that.
Get one or two office chairs.

  • @stevenbathurst7027

They should put the bed in the back and use the front driver chair and passenger chair swivel around to have seating. It’s still a nice class b plus but I would use it long term travel so I would want a comfortable bed for me.it’s nice that it is small you can go to smaller campsites. I don’t like the shower door just use a curtain.

I would get rid of that table & get a fold up table that can be used outside.
If the bed is uncomfortable put down a memory foam pad on top.
I still like the versatility with this RV & that the sofa is used for hauling people, sitting & for sleeping. I want to move up from a tent but needs Solar Panels.

I think you need an episode where you discuss working from the different classes of RVs. I know some RVs have the ability to direct connect laptops and use the TV as a monitor. Show how far you can go away from RV and not lose connection with the wifi extender. How a passenger can work from the road. .

Hi Matt/Andrea how are you 2?,,Yeah,, it's been a while.:) Listen,, those arm rests can be placed behind the sofa between back and window as to be used for a Neck/head supporter. Also,, egg/foam padding could be applied to sofas for support and comfort.
One of the best things about a Gulfstream Brand is their attention to quality. Very similar to "Born Free" design. Also the comp will let re-design the interior if you wish. Very cool appeal.!!

  • @purposeful49418
    @purposeful49418 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Love this rig because 1. no slides, 2. no slides, and 3. no slides! I wouldn't hate on the jack-knife sofas, just get a nice modified mattress topper that maybe you can store somewhere, or even a nice sleeping bag would make up for any discomfort of the sofas. Love the kitchen layout and the HUGE refrigerator instead of those stupid dorm fridges that a lot of smaller RV's have. The rear fiberglass cap and fiberglass roof are a nice bonus as well. The only thing that would make this perfect for its type would be a Ford transit chassis instead of the 350.

I didn't read all the reviews but surprised no one, including Matt and Will, mentioned (and disliked) the cab not being same color as the rest of the camper. Also, striping was mismatched, cab to the rest of the unit. Seemed like a last minute scramble by the manufactuer to get this on a lot.

I would be good to live in it. I would take one side of sofa and memory foam and make a perm bed. Love the size of fridge in something that small.. I like the amount of storage inside. Outside would have to add to back a place for outside stuff storage, don't like that tanks are open, I take it, its not 4 season.

For the heck of it, I just watched your review. We bought BT cruiser 5210 in April this year and have been on the road camping with it ever since. We started in New Mexico and camped in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California. You might be right about the beds being uncomfortable but I don’t know because we did a slight modification that turned those 2 jackknife beds into one bed that is nearly as large as a king-size bed and it is mega comfortable. And it folds up in the daytime!

1)Thank you for mentioning people with special needs 2) Great for soccer moms or Grammies like me who want to get out there but don’t want to drive a dang bus 3) I love the rear kitchen and bath. I didn’t know they still made this model. Cons: 1) Cab is kinda tight 2) Fridge could be smaller to add more pantry space or… 3) Who really uses the oven? Not me.

Saw a BT Cruiser 25’ with the Murphy bed. To us, the fit and finish was a bit interesting….. Wires hanging at the rear (thin wires) not in a harness or wrap! It was too small for the two of us we concluded. Went to a 28 Class A (14) and found the fit and finish we expected in a motorhome.

Change the microwave for a convection oven, take out the conventional stove/oven and put in an induction cook top. That would leave plenty of storage space under the cook top. Change out the round sink for a rectangular one. Why is there a sink in the bathroom when there's one literally 2 steps away? I never understood that.

And the CCC is? Does the tv come out and rotate at all? I really like this motorhome. They need to put an extender on the edge of the kitchen sink to give you more prep space. Would be nice if they had a place that the table went instead of taking up the entire closet. I don't like the table as you guys said. Maybe a lagoon type would be better if possible. That table does not look stable. Get rid of the sink in the bathroom. The kitchen sink is like 3 feet way. That would give you more room for the shower and toilet. If some one really needs a sink in the bathroom they should put in a fold down one with a mirror over if and maybe a shelf to put stuff in. For the length of this motor home it is really great. Love the windows like you guys did.

Is there storage under the couches? Do the couches have seatbelts? Love the big fridge. I am one of those people with health issues. Thanks for thinkiing of us. Less bells and whistles on the dash is less to have problems with later. The shower door seemed noisy. Wondering how noisy it would be with water hitting it? Overall the RV is very interesting and looks like an appealing set up that would work for us and the price is lower but still too expensive for us with my disability and husband retired. But we dream of RV traveling. We use a tent currently.

Not sure if you guys noticed, but the table position is actually offset favoring the sofa to the right for your eating space, while allowing more room on the left side for walking through the unit while the table is installed.
