Watching AzulGG fight through the losers bracket, having to play more games than the winners bracket, it was such an enduring yet amazing run for Azul. Great to be there to support him, and it was amazing to see him win the Players Cup 3! Represent, rat pack!!! 🐀🐀🐀
Someone who knows really well the game. Is it worth to play this online only? I just have like 5 physical cards from so long ago. But I wanna start playing. Can I buy the cards digitally? Is it worthy to play just online?
So, modern physical products almost always contain code cards to let you redeem an online equivalent (though packs won't be a complete 1:1). Unfortunately though, the physical tcg is rather hard to acquire product for at the moment, but there are plenty of ways to build a collection in the online game completely for free through its in game currency you can earn with some relatively tame grinding.
@dreadkong22 Yes! The Pokémon TCG online is a very fun and easy to learn game, but also difficult to master, if you’re up for the competitive aspect of it. There are plenty of ways to expand your online collection: play the game, earn coins, participate in the in-game tournaments, or trading for other cards. There’s an abundance of videos to show you how to play on TH-cam here too. :)
@@dreadkong22 There are plenty of websites online that will sell codes for packs, decks and other TCG products to redeem in the game - just make sure to read descriptions to know exactly what you're getting! A good recent deck code, like the ADP or Pikarom ones, is a good investment to learn the basics while playing with some cards you'll see commonly around. From there, if you want, buy packs, open 'em to get new cards, or trade the packs for specific cards! It's a game you can play at a surface level or get really deep into.
Online booster packs of the newest set (which you can get from buying code cards- just search "pokemon TCG codes" and you'll find sites to buy from) act as a sort of currency online. You can trade packs for any cards you want. Building the first deck can be somewhat expensive, but once you have one deck it's a lot cheaper to build others because you'll have most of the staple cards (cards common throughout meta decks).
Great commentating! RAPID STRIKE FOR THE WIN! We got the best of the best in commentating history! Great job to everyone who participated and worked on this amazing series 💚💯💚

You can earn coins in the tcg and buy digital packs in the store for the digital tcg game, and if you do have any codes from past opened packs they have codes that also give you digital packs :)
The entire competitive scene is online right now and scalpers throw out code cards like they're garbage. It's significantly easier than ever to get into the game competitively.
@@jakegearhart While i understand the convenience of it being online... it is a CARD game, is it not? Some people, I know it's crazy to consider, prefer the physical good, as opposed to the digital representation of said physical good. Kind of like how some people enjoy having a physical copy of a game, versus having it digitally in their library.
@@blurplepie I've been playing competitively in-person since late 2013. I've won multiple large tournaments, both in-person and online. I played in the world championships. I know the difference between in-person and online. Your original comment was about participating, and participation is not hindered whatsoever by scalpers. Online is where all competition is held right now. And on top of that, 95% of the time physical standard legal competitive card prices are unaffected by scalpers. And _all_ top competitive players buy singles.
The Pokémon TCG is really underrated in comparison to the video game series, which is unfortunate. It’s such a fun card game.
Agreed. Wish more people would give it a chance :(
DIALGA I JUST SUBBED
Wish i could learn to play but i get confused fast 🥺
I know how to play but my region doesn't participate in Pokemon games, neither tcg nor vgc
I tried the game a week ago with my sister and I bought 100 energies because of it 😂😂
Props to the rookie David. Shows that it’s never too late to learn

Too bad you can't participate without cards.
