I came back to this video because GTA Long Night has been my favorite Zombie mod for Vice City. I have been playing it many years ago and I still play it even now. Also, GTA Long Night Reborn is awesome as they added some new features on it.
I 100% agree with you. Long Night is not only the best Vice City mod (imo), but also one of the best total conversion mods made for GTA franchise. Long Night Reborn is also a decent remaster of this mod. It has many additions and fixes for the original game. However, I choose to mod the original game with the cleo mods of Reborn, since I don't prefer Reborn, I am more into the original. Also, the nap missions ("Take a nap?") stuck after completing 4 of 10. (Can't get past "OPEC) The original one does not have this issue (Well, sort of).
Thanks for the upload! Still, my favorite mod for Vice City. Beat it countless times when I was a teen without any cheats. The game was hard as hell and crashed a lot, but the creepy atmosphere and gameplay with zombie-infested open-world city were so unique back in 2005. Nostalgia is real.
Don't mention it andI hear you, man, Long Night was pretty hard (Especially missions like Showing Off and Drop Dead Rush.) and unless using the official .scm fix provided by Hellfish Studios, you were most likely going to experience crashes and unhandled exceptions even in the first mission. But aside from all of these, Long Night is still something special in our hearts.
@@Purgatory096 You're right too, The static radios is the icing on the cake on this mod and also the original characters like Tommy Vercetti, Phil Cassidy and others got infected makes you feel more desperate, And I just want to know who's controlling or leader the Vercetti-Gang while Tommy is deceased, And the Vrock Radio people/hi-jackers/hosts are currently alive in the game or it's just taped/looped keep me thinking if they're alive or not. Please reply
@@levothyrx Maybe Vercetti's highest ranking members took control of the gang after he's dead. About the guys in V Rock, I believe they made that 1 hour record and became infected sometime after that or some became infected during the middle of the record and after the anthem at the end of the record, they turned into zombies and killed the rest of the group. These are my theories, they don't have to be true.
Well, I kinda noticed that, as many of the quality of life additions and mods for GTA Long Night are done by Russians. Safe to say, Russians are extremely gifted in terms of modding, reverse engineering and hacking, which really amazes me.

GTA 3 evreninin en iyi modu kesinlikle. Radyolar, nightmare görevleri, görevler, karakterler, atmosfer. nostaljik, depresif, psikolojik olarak iyi işlenmiş, raccoon city kafası yok. Hellfish'in modu yaparken daha büyük bir beklentiyle yaptıkları anlaşılıyor keşke değeri daha iyi bilinebilseydi.
Doğru söylüyorsunuz, en kaliteli total conversion modlarından ve değeri bilinse belki bu mod bugün bambaşka bir noktada olabilirdi. (Son birkaç yıl içerisinde yapılmış hayran yapımı Reborn modu gibi en azından.)

@@TheRealKVJ Well, judging by their 17 year old GTA Long Night videos, and the fact that they said they are the owners of the mod, then this channel certainly belongs to Fighting Hellfish. But, as they are inactive for ten years, I doubt we would be able to get in contact with them, unfortunately.
I have no clear idea why they did add that scream. However, I have a guess that the station was recorded with a small fiction behind it, with each member of the band playing in that station was slowly meeting the inevitable death and transformation awaiting them. This scream and the songs & melodies towarda the end of the VROCK record becoming darker, could be given as proof.
@@Purgatory096 sounds about right. Especially since it makes sense they might’ve recorded this either prior to the apocalypse or during the apocalypse and had it on repeat.
Probably because you're playing GTA Long Night through gta-vc.exe. You should either play through gta-ln.exe provided with the modification files, or mod the original audio file (Not AudioLC) with GTA Long Night's radio files.
@@Purgatory096 thing is when i open up ln.exe it opens up a launcher that asks for another exe to opened (specifically vc.exe) so i think there’s a problem with the mod itself that i downloaded (which is from apunkagames btw)
@@Cenuzi You need to locate the gta-vc exe in the same folder. Afterwards, the game should be opened. This process is not related to where you downloaded the mod, actually. Even if you had downloaded it from gtagarage.com or moddb.com and set the mod yourself, you would still needed to specify the location of gta-vc.exe.

Vrock : depressing edition
I came back to this video because GTA Long Night has been my favorite Zombie mod for Vice City. I have been playing it many years ago and I still play it even now. Also, GTA Long Night Reborn is awesome as they added some new features on it.

You're right, such a powerful feeling. In fact, the whole record fits with the atmosphere and makes you feel desperation deeply.

That would sound creepy in any other situation besides zombie apocalypse. I might sound very cynic, but I find this situation pretty much ironic.
By the way, this mod has quite a fan base, at least among players from Russia.
