The lag can be turned off from the app, it is deliberately there due to multi-room capabilities, the sudden burst of sound can also be reduced from the app by setting the default sound very low. It is a good entry level B&O speaker for ur kitchen/ bedroom I am looking at getting one actually just that it’s been out for a while so I think an update is around the corner now

Why wouldn't you make sure the volume is turned down before switching off. Coz complaining that it burst out loud when you switch it on again is a bit idiotic.

Willie Mutele Having the volume rise gradually to your previously set level is a very common thing now. I’m just surprised that B&O didn’t do it here unlike their competitors from Bose, Sonos and JBL.

it mainly for bluetooth from your mobile phone or other music players. You can bluetooth with TV but you expect delay in sync with the audio from the movie. I used the optical connection but very difficult to set up on the TV setup up function. The bottom line is DO NOT use in for TV.
