So much history in Denmark and other European countries which I find fascinating. Living in western Canada is such a contrast in that regard - we travel to Quebec and the Maritimes for a taste of older architecture and history. We're fortunate to have lived in Quebec for a year and also 2 years in Labrador on the far northeast Canadian coast and so have had a flavor of more than the "wild west"!
Lovely forest walk and tour of your former town. The buildings are so nicely kept and cozy. No wonder my mother found Canadian farms rather wild and messy in comparison! (She grew up in Copenhagen then moved to Canada to marry my father). Cheers from Ontario, Canada ❤
The town you grew up in is absolutely charming. I would love to walk down those cobble streets and explore! Beautiful… I hope your visit with your resting parents was heart touching with as little pain or grief as possible. The troll forest in this video was stunning.
