Another day in paradise - Duotone Unit v5 Review

In this video i'll talk about my experience with the new Unit v5.

Nice Video. Which cam mount did you use for your wing shots ?

Thanks mate! :) I use a handlebar/tube mount from some 3d party company. I think any mount that you would put on a bicycle handlebar works. Then I put it around the boom - you can see in the video at 00:56 where I have some PVC tape to protect the boom from the mount :) I also in some other videos use the flymount 130 and then have it at the end of the strut :)

I was actually going for the Manera foam helmet but went to Decathlon and found this helmet - It's the brand "Olaian". I like it alot, even tho most ppl seem to think its a helmet for riding horses haha. The wet suit is ION Seek, not sure exactly of which version but its a 6/5. I hate freezing 😂
It's very reliable. Not the cheapest tho.

What is the foil you are using? I am 100kg and intermediate. Which size sky brid would you recommend?

Hey mate! I am using the carve 850 in this video paired with the 5’6 skybrid.
Skill level and weight plays Big roles in chosing equipment. The board is 70L and I am at 75kg give or take. Thanks to the slim width of the skybrid i took almost the same volume as my weight to never have to worry in wind drops etc. So id recommend the 5’10 (100L) for you. If you have good winds and good skill you can consider the 5’8 (85L) 😁
For foil maybe the carve 2.0 1100 would be a good option. I Highly recommend checking out the new glide 2.0. They turn better than previous version and I myself be using the glide alot coming months. For the glide id look into the 900/1100 in your case 😊
