I listened to Rage right from their get go. I was young, didn’t understand the lyrics much, but the guitar, in your face bass riffs, and zachs screams really resonated in me. NOW though, 29 years later, as a father, and lower to SOMETIMES middle class citizen trying to survive in this bonkers economy with an even more bonkers government, with even more bonkers criminals that run it.... the lyrics mean so much. It’s like he was predicting the future.
Rage wasn't predicting the future, they tried to make us concious of the then present with all their might. The majority didn't listen and now our present is even worse and, indeed, more bonkers than it was back then
One of the best rhythm sections of this generation. Keeps the crowd jumping, hard. Simple lines, but near perfect in their own way. See also Audioslave's 3 studio albums. Always very tight section.

I am 46 years old and just now discovering this band. How in the hell did i sleep on this band for over 20 years. They are awesome. I watch this everyday several times a day. I cant get enough of them.
I knew about them since I was like 10, lol, but I was never really into them until recently, with all that's going on, I started to really understand what they were trying to tell us 30 years ago.
I can't believe it but in between Zack's signature, formal introduction of the band and that nostalgic sound of Testify churning, I became choked up as I watched an anxious crowd, waiting to absolutely erupt, listening to a palpable passion, building. I must say, I discover new musicians and band, falling in love with many but after reading an article interviewing the zany Tim Commerford, discovering this concert release, I remember the difference in how I felt growing up with Rage Against the Machine. It's simply something ineffable. Thank you for helping me finding that feeling again, boys.

Brad Wilk is probably one of the most underrated drummers. So much energy.
His kit is pretty basic. No need for double bass drums, miles of cymbals , gongs etc He does the business.
