Have tip for you. On your trainer, you should label the buttons and lights with the I/O address you refer to in the video's powerpoint, to insure student understanding better.

For stop input, since stop button is nc, why not use nc in diagram?

Download OMRON CX-1 trial version from OMRON to get the ladder simulator functionality. This package includes CX programmer. However if you just download CX programmer you dont have the simulator functionality. Hopefully this helps someone as i had a headache tying to get the simulator
