Dan's videos are coming up on my feeds as well. I didn't get around to seeing this the first time but it sure brought tears to my eyes. I just want Lin to know she is so loved and that she has a heap of hugs from New Zealand and all around the world. Plus it doesn't help for me that I miss my older son so much who is on his OE in England and I haven't seen him for five years cause I'm not a good saver. Anyway enough of me and my tears :(

4:54 - 5:04 is simultaneously utterly heartbreaking and completely inspirational the way Dan's mum reacts to it. She's amazing.
I never looked sick either or lost my hair . But you know what? This could be anyone's last holiday with loved ones if they have cancer or not. We only have today in actuality. Tomorrow is not promised to ANYONE. Live to the fullest everyday. Someone who doesnt have cancer may drop dead of a heart attack or hit by a truck! Having cancer, at least gives people like us the opportunity to stop....think and look within, grow, become a better human being. We FEEL everything so intensely. sadness to happiness You are a beautiful human being. Embrace all your feelings because nothing is wrong. I remember coming to the realization that everything will be ok not only for me but everyone who loves me, even if I die. Its all ok. Everything is as its suppose to be. Always! You had a great day with your family today. AWESOME! Go to bed and tell yourself, today was great.

But that is not the point! I am 40 and have no diagnosis of any life limiting illness, so I have a CHANCE to live much longer. Something Dan never had! It's about that chance not about that fact that everybody has to die at some point.
This video aswell as this comment has finally made me realise that everything i wantt too do in life i need to not have second thoughts and do it. I now see money as not something too save forever, but something too use to get the enjoyment i want from life. Thank you so much for this comment. You may have just changed my entire approach to my life.

😍 ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ After hearing the sad news about Daniel today. I just found this in my recommended and feel like I was supposed to rewatch this today. Always admired your relationship with your mum and other close family members you were all very blessed with your family. This video has taught me at the end of it all what is really important and that's family and the love and relationships we share and build in life. What else really matters other then the ones we love. Thank you Dan. Still making us realise that and laugh after your passing ♥ hearts 💕

How utterly gutwrenching it must be for a mother to admit aloud that she will likely lose her child soon, and then to put a smile on her face (for his sake) and say that they will just make the best of it. Your mother is so brave, and I can tell that she is trying so hard to be strong for you. I feel a pain deep in my heart for both of you. Such nice people. Cancer is so horrid.
Nakidz yes, this literly brought tears to my eyes. i have 3 sons myself and i know the love and bond a mom feels for her son is unique and one of the strongest forces that exist. her strength and grace is absolutely amazing. she knows her baby is very sick and i know she would trade places with him without even a single thought but she cant. so she does the only thing she can.. supports him in his fight with pure and honest love.. i so want him to come to the states for treatment..

it broke my heart to hear your mum agree that this could be the last mothers day you celebrate together. I feel as though loved ones are often overlooked in this type of situation, and although they are not going through the trauma physically, they do have a lot of the mental effects :(

People can be so cruel. I only found out about him after he passed away. It breaks by heart that he had negative people trying to diminish his pure light.

As for people saying you're lying--SHAME ON THEM!! What horrible, horrible people! I'm so sorry you have to deal with that. I do look at you and think you look so strong and healthy, BUT the thing is, disease doesn't show its results like a tiger leaping on you. It creeps up, stalking, preying on the inside of the body long before the outer body begins to look ravaged. At that point, the disease is advanced. People need to think logically, but sometimes they're just ignorant because they've never had to walk in poor health.
RIP Dan, you were such a fantastic person and your mother was so supportive. I've become a better person since I began watching your videos, I've done so kuch to become a better person and that's all thanks to YOU! You held such a positive outlook and put on such a strong face despite everything you were going through, thank you my friend, I promise I won't take anything for granted any longer.

So sad you're being asked for this. I will say that I have been a victim of giving to scams and I consider myself to be fairly intelligent. I have not a shadow of a doubt that your case is unfortunately the truth, 1,000%. The pain in your Mother's eyes was all the proof I need. Happy Mother's Day to her.
