Just miraculously found this kit at hobby lobby, which I’m even surprised that they finally have gundam kits on their shelves. Gonna build after I’m done with the hg reversible gundam cause the jesta really does look like solid kit to build.
Christochat eh just wondering, probably like you said and they’re testing the waters first. Hope the next kits they bring will include some master grade kits any of the core gundam kits and hopefully real grade gundam mark 2, helped a friend build that and for an old real grade kit it’s a pretty solid kit.
I've recently gotten back into Gunpla. I was crazy about it roughly 20 years ago when I was like 7 but then just kinda fell off the hobby. But I've really only dipped my toes in and gotten kits available at a local Hobby Lobby getting the Chars Origin red comet Zaku HG, Rx-78-2 hg(cause like come on, gotta start with the og), 08th MS custom Gouf hg, the LEO hg and this kit. Out of all of them I have to say that this kit is the most "put together"/solid feeling(from my kits anyways). This is is just solid with amazing joints Rx-78-2, Chars Zaku and the Custom Gouf are really good and solid just not to the level as my Jesta. The Leo was honestly pretty terrible, everything was fairly loose especially the ankle armor and the thigh/hip connection. I was able to remedy the issues with super glue with some super glue and paint though. But still out of all them I felt the Jesta was the best purchase besides Char's Zaku and I'm a fanboy of Char and the Zaku, lmao.
I just found this kit at a Gunpla hobby shop! I’m almost done building, but I’ve debated on whether I should paint it. Personally I like the color as it is, but I also want to be true to the Gunpla hobby. What do you think? Should I paint it or no?
I hope they make like a revive version of this. jesta is like one of the best of all mass produce machine of earth federation i think. they are way better than jegans and gm...
@@worldeatermarine9115 i think he also meant grunt unit. So far there are only 3(?) that appeared in Unicorn under the command of Bright Noa. And 3 Shezzar type (A, B, C team) that appeared in Narrative. They're kinda elite/ace use kind of mass production.
I just built this model. It is my first. I liked the build, and now I wish I’d tried one before now. I needed my boy (11) to pick the parts off the sprues, because I have old man eyes. 😎
Given that there aren't many colors on this mobile suit, it's no surprise the foil stickers are minimal. But with an HG, it's always good when there's minimal stickers since no one likes stickers on a GunPla kit. It definitely is nice when an HG has clear parts instead of depending on stickers. Will you be doing a comparison between the HGUC and MG versions? Will you also get the RGM-96X Jesta Cannon in HGUC and/or MG? The MG version is a P-Bandai. Will you be getting the RGM-96Xs Jesta (Shezarr Type) in HGUC and/or MG? Bandai released it all (both HGUC & MG) through P-Bandai. - HGUC RGM-96Xs Jesta (Shezarr Type, Team A) - HGUC RGM-96Xs Jesta (Shezarr Type, Team B & C) - MG RGM-96Xs Jesta (Shezarr Type, Team B & C) I guess if you do, you'd probably get: - HGUC RGM-96Xs Jesta (Shezarr Type, Team A) - HGUC RGM-96Xs Jesta (Shezarr Type, Team B & C) x2 and/or - MG RGM-96Xs Jesta (Shezarr Type, Team B & C) x3 I'm surprised Bandai didn't make any GunPla for the RGM-96X EWAC Jesta. I think that's the only variant missing in GunPla form. But then again (according to info I looked up since I'm not too familar with UC) it was only in the novel version so I presume most people are not even aware of this variant. But that would give more reason to make it a P-Bandai, right? 🤔

that really is one baddy of a kit.. very solid.. nothing falls off... so simple yet so badass..
It's a great kit and has aged well. Solid marks in terms of construction, minimal seam line removal.
The beam effects can be stuck into the gun as for a shooting pose

The jesta cannon is AMAZINGLY hard to find. I recommend getting the daban version then using it as a conversion kit to your hguc jesta
