It's important to note though that pricing depends on season it's $150 right now but I looked at the cost during spring break and it's like $100 more a night
I love surfside and dockside. It was nice for the price. I did find fitness centers funny because you get plenty if excersise walking around the parks LOL
yay i loved this video! My fam and i (there was four of us) stayed here awhile back and loved it! As soon as you showed the room I immediately felt like i saw my home again, I have such nostalgia for surfside ❤❤
Made a reservation for me and my lady for February 10th-14th only $74 a night Florida resident for a standard room gonna be are first time going super excited
Resort tour time!!! I love the resort tour videos. It’s always interesting to see the differences between Universal and Disney resorts. I think it’s worth it because The resort had a good number of amenities and a reasonable price point. I am beyond excited for Epic Universe to open! I’ll definitely be watching/reading all the AllEars coverage of Epic Universe. Thanks for the in-depth and awesome resort tour Quincy!
What a quaint place to stay... anytime the word "Inn" is included, it's usually more economically accessible for families, so I appreciate that. And unlike with Disney where resorts are a part of the magic, Universal is more 'stand alone' with resorts being an "after thought" for lack of better words at the moment. Thank you, Quincy, for an excellent tour and a solid possibility for when I trundle down there next year... although I don't recall seeing a room safe in either Surfside nor Dockside and that's a minor, minor downside. Much love and respect to all.
Are the universal shuttles to the uni parks handicap accessible specifically for ecv? Any suggestions of ecv accessible transport from universal hotels to Disney parks?
I’ve stayed here and at Dockside several times. I love the room decor and the price but I wish the walls were more soundproof. I evacuated (I was in a mandatory evacuation zone for hurricane Milton )to dockside from my home 2 hours away largely because of the price.
Just a heads up about when she said the Starbucks serves the "full menu", ny partner and I went in December before xmas last year and stayed at Dockside for 3 days. The second day I wanted to quickly grab a coffee and breakfast sandwhich only to find they had a sign saying 'we only have these food items': and it was like their muffins the scones a cookie a plain croissant and two bagels. Every time we went back to check it was the same. Idk if it was just because of the very busy holiday season but be warned always go and check when you check in if they actually do have the full menu or not.
It seems like a great bargain! I see rates for $96 a night for FL residents during Christmas! Is it worth it to stay here and go to Disney a day or 2 on the trip? I can't get over the rates here.
Having checked it on Google Maps' satellite view to confirm my suspicion, I would have to say that the pool looks much more like a goldfish than a surfboard.
The fact that universal hotels are not as secluded and smack dab in the middle of Orlando makes them less desirable to me. Universal has less control of who is loitering around their properties and I have seen many reviews where transients are just hanging outside the hotel properties. They are convenient to the area, but with delivery I don’t need to be able to walk to a Walgreens and would prefer not to see one from my hotel window. I have a universal trip planned for 2026, so I’m still trying to decide if I want to stay onsite a few nights at a premier for free fast passes. Decisions decisions!
I always love a Quincy resort tour. This is a nice break from the game and 1000 things challenge videos.
I agree! I always enjoy how relaxing resort tours are
Shoutout to Quincy for your Sound of Music reference. Solid. 14:13

That's still $100 less than any Disney 1 bedroom
Also means Disney triples theirs LOL
She says this lol
I stayed here back in June and I absolutely loved it! Can’t wait till I come back!

Quincy out there giving us the full on deal! Thank you!
Enjoy your hotel reviews 😊
Would definitely be a great option if you’re doing both WDW and universal
Saving a few hundred dollars here vs a Disney value , it’s almost a deal too good to be true. $98 a night I see now at Surfside.

Great video. How was the nights sleep, I’ve heard it can be noisy especially on HHN nights xxx
We've stayed in the 2 bedroom suite there. Excellent value!
Do the 2 bedroom suites also have the thin walls that the single rooms have?

Love the Richie Rich shirt! Used to be a big fan as a kid.

Can you consider showing a room that is wheelchair accessible with a roll-in shower?
I hope that when epic universe is up and fully running the prices don’t double or triple. I’m willing to bet they do though.

One of the cons, location, will soon be a pro because it will be centrally located once Epic Universe opens.
There's a pizza button on the phone?!
Nope. Stayed there this past September.
Not for me.
Firsttt

Well, don't forget that pizza flyer scammers are going into the Disney hotels.
