It is just one game. If he’s consistently not getting picked even if the teams underperforming then he’s more justified if he wants to move. Where could he go though considering the money he’s on? The options are limited other than maybe Saudi, but he’d be then going purely for the money. I’d prefer seeing him going to Spain or Italy and accepting a pay cut. He surely has enough money and could still go to Saudi in a couple of years.

Competition is needed but too much competition kills competition.

Maresca have a very good working relationship with all his players not only Sterling. Ridiculous, what camp are they talking about? Sterling and his so called "camp " should know that he is the highest earners among all of the Chelsea squad. Sterling has nothing to prove as the highest scoring winger in Premier League history, if you exclude penalties, surpassing all other wingers that have played in the Premier League with over 3 years of his career still to play. Only 18 strikers in Premier League history have scored more than Sterling as a winger and even less if you exclude penalties and the numbers will fall further because he has over 3 years to play at that is phenomenal. You can try to deny the quality and ability of this play who like your friend Zidane and others like Messi, Pele, Ronaldo and Modric and a few more are the few players with the capacity to almost single handedly drag their national teams to the final of an international competition. If you think it's easy, ask Rooney and ask Debruyne and they will tell you just how hard it is and how much they have tried to achieve it, but found it impossible, even with a better team of players around them than Sterling had when he did it. Who was it that came on as a substitute in his last game of the season for Man City and changed the game to save them from losing their title and by doing so putting them in the record breaking position they are today of winning 4 straight titles and who was it that brought him on to help them achieve just that when everybody demand he bring Graelish. And if he was so unwanted at Man City, why is is they went out and brought a replica of Sterling and Sterling's art of the game as winger in Doku. That player with the quality to come on and help Man City win the title by creating something out of nothing when the team was struggling for answers is the same player only a few month later being criticised at Chelsea so it is not him that is the problem are his quality that is going down, but the players he is playing with who against teams in the top 4 like Man City he had to save from defeat last season while being criticised. previous 2 league games against Chelsea it's been ex City players that have stood out. Sterling scoring in the 1-1 and Sterling and Palmer scoring in the 4-4. Raheem Sterling may not have been great for Chelsea but in any match against City, Sterling is always the best player.
