@@martymcfly5434 And did you know that now it's actually too late to release one? :-( .. I heard that the producers stated on a commentary on the blu ray that a soundtrack could not be released now (even though they could afford it) because some of the maters they had are now missing and a few that they have are sloppy and can't be re-done .
@@SimpleWorld08 Yes, I heard that too! Another unreleased Soundtrack is the 1984 cult classic Lovelines. Apparently it was suppose to be released but it got axed at the last second!? When watching the movie credits it says Soundtrack on Curb Records and cassettes which it sadly never was?!

The best bit was, hands down, when she walks into the classroom and everyone applauds her. I waited my entire high school career for that to happen to me, alas it did not.
there's another way to look at the situation - those who were "popular" in high school have already hit their peak time and it's all down hill from there , where as for the rest of us who were invisible through HS have yet to reach that high point .

On the Blu-ray, the Weir brothers basically said there was little chance because some masters are missing and some are in poor shape :( the people that made this movie really didn’t know then just how beloved it would be. Pretty sad.

Saw this movie and for some reason it reminded me of that old PBS show Wonderworks where they played feel-good TV movies with some sort of life lesson or moral attached to it.
