How difficult is it to replace leds under playfield with that large pcb mounted underneath? Also is there any reason to be concerned about that pcb mounted to playfield with all the gameplay vibration causing solder shorts or parts to fail?
Any issues Todd with the led boards on the bottom with vibration? Looks like it's one board on the bottom of the playfield. Just wondering your thoughts on longevity. Thanks Bryan
we have not experienced any problems with those bottom boards yet. There seems to be virtually nothing we could service on the board should it go bad at some point.
@@tntamusements that's my problem with these newfangled pins. 10 years from now a place like TNT Amusements isn't going to be able to work on it, and that machine is going to be like most electronics made right now - unfixable by mere mortals .
@@tntamusements What´s on thoose? are they just fixing points and wiring for the led´s? Then maybe there can be a solution? Or is it the whole circuit board integrated on the same? If the later is the case, i find it really sad, building theese beautiful machines, that will be so easily discarded in a not to distant future.
I remember an old TopCast interview where the guest (Lyman Sheats or Roger Sharp) said that they originally were going to call it Monster Mash and use the classic song. However, the IP holder wanted way too much money.
Awesome machine, but where is the Wolfman....and why is there white showing at the bottom of the back glass after Todd fooled around with it...hmmm..I think you need to adjust that, it isnt in correctly
Todd, Asteroids. You've sold more than Walmart? :) I think you are right in that the Arcade1up, Wally World releases are getting people more interested in wanting the originals. People don't mind a owning a Civic but most would rather have a Bentley. This trend will make the next payment on your Bentley!
Yes...but the Arcade 1 Ups are great for getting renewed interest in all the classics...this will help the retro arcades...and then make people want a REAL: game....so I am thrilled with them!
Honestly, the fact they did all the extra lighting, which you unfortunately couldn't do on the MM remake, is great. They really listened, and having played the monster bash remake SE, I'm thoroughly impressed.
@@tntamusements Ha! You guys are the best! I have watched for many years. Being in the middle of no where its impossible for me to ever get a technician, so having youtube is a life saver for a pinball and arcade lover like me. Thanks for all the great content TNT, hope to make it out there some day.
@@tntamusements One last thing. I restored a Killer Instinct and still never found the side artwork closest to the original, as you know decals are not cheap and already blew 200 one some that looked horrible and didnt even put them on :( was wondering if you could point me in the direction of getting these or who you would order from.
I just call them the Borg disks but oh well. First Contact anyone. Yeah the original ones were rather Green. similar to the first season of knight rider with a blinking red box ..... th-cam.com/video/pL7V3lqcUeg/w-d-xo.html oh and that narrator sounds nothing like the Borg. Q must be at work. Computer End Program
oh and Radio Shack would be sad to hear someone say they are gone. Got a few of them 30 miles away online version alot of DIY stuff which is what they were like originally
the added sound effects were amazing👌😂 wonderful breakdown thank you guys!!
Todd’s brother has a great sense of humor too. Funny duo.
We get along great and have now found our pacing together!

Monster Bash's playfield layout is like if Cyclone and Fish Tales had a baby lol

Any issues with the games sold? Really considering purchasing one! Owned pins for 13 years! My last purchase was LE Stranger Things.
Monster Bash is my favorite pinball to date.. Thanks for the videos..
You're welcome!
Do i want this? Or black knight sword of rage?
This all day!!!! Stern's suck and their customer support sucks worse!

Those CREEPS! Look at what they missed out on!
Monster is on my pinball top 10 list.

Enamel? Umm I thought they call it powder coating?
I just had a word with the script girl...and fired her!
Todd got a kick out of that slap!
Yes I did! I couldnt stop laughing
Such a GREAT game!
It certainly is!
Beautiful!
Thank you!
I love the Tuckeys!
Why thank you!!
The price between the CE and LE is only $800.00 which isn't bad!
Yes....an easy decision!
who knows what happens with the lights off
Hmmmmm////

Ide be upset if it was my game with that guy standing in between scratching the sides with his jean buttons and belt buckle
It makes me think, while I love Chicago gaming for this, I can imagine some people are mad at them for "ruining" the value of their original machines.
That's what they get for asking $14,000 for a macihne that was $3500.0] brand new.
I would rather have the new one with all the extra lighting, myself.

So was I!
I always loved Area 51 max force
Yes...the duop game is pretty good
You guys might want to call for service. There's a credit dot on the SE. 😏
I let Chicago Gaming HAVE it on the phone!
How hard would it be to get rid of the say no to drugs and change it to just says yes. 😜
now, now, now.....
Ya new video!!
Yes sirree!
Or mr. Burns.
Ugh, I'm going nuts with him standing in the middle of the machines! You scratch my artwork we might not be friends anymore ;)
I fired him for that transgression (actually I didn;t).....but I SHOULD! At least I put in the squeezing sounds while he did it!
