Thanks to this video I now understand why I have delayed union at the fifth metatarsal. I was not given the proper boot or a cast and this caused distraction and stress at the fracture site from trying to walk prematurely.

I was in a hospital bed in my living room from March to August. I went to physical therapy and I feel they rushed me so take it slow with physical therapy. I had broken my foot in November 2018 but had to start over with a boot and stay in bed until the foot was healed so I could start therapy. So basically from November to October 2019 until I could walk pretty good. It took a very long time. Towards the end of the healing I was using a walker.Doctors misdiagnosed, made mistakes, did not give me the right cast,. It was a messOK now I will orthopedic sneakers and I get around pretty well. Don’t rush yourself and take your time to heal. I did take some calcium pills and drink milk to help the bone heal. That may help

radius sinistra with internal fixation, now its been 8 months post orif and the fracture line is still visible through x-ray, what do you think this is? is it still a delayed union or it has been categorized as a nonunion? my orthopaedic haven’t told me anything yet (i have to do another x-ray scan next month, it will be the third one since desember)

if orif at distal third humerus ..but still see 6 mm gap between bone after 4 months ... is it going to non union, sir??..fracture was long spiral ..but there are some area where fracture is in contact produced callus and united ..other area still 6mm gap
