I love the 966. I really like staylock snaps I’ve never had one open up. Owner needs to work on getting more Haymakers to market. I have a 904 and curious what else you can use that rod for. Would it be a good 4-6 inch flutter spoon rod?
Yes 100% 966 is gold. What you use the Haymaker for? Yes, 904 super versatile. I throw a lot of reaction baits on that rod. Frog, buzz toad, dipper, heavy swim jig, bigger paddletail swimbaits. Flutter spoons, mid sized.
@@JoshDouglasFishing I use the Haymaker for Heavier Texas rigged worms, beaver baits and a couple larger JDM baits. I prefer it for some baits over a straight shank.

I’ve got the 904 and it’s my fav rod I own, spoons, magdraft, small glides and my a rig rod!
