man i love watching these types of duels with all the back and forth instead of those 1 turn wins.
so much more entertaining and sorta feels like one those anime yu gi oh battles and also dragonmaids ftw
Not gonna lie.
They need to balance out the game by making this back and forth pace with a little speedy like current modern. I would love if they can limit the maximum of players can special summon to 10 each turn
@@snin3202 I don't think 10 would be nearly enough to slow down the long combos, it may shut down consistent otk and ftk for some decks that actually tske advantage if the cards effects ti special summon, but many decks can still win with in 10 summons, at the same time, konami has to be careful, regardless of how healthy it may be for the game, it doesn't mean the player base would accept the change and would seriously consider dropping the game not to mention how many deck would lose it consistently and drop in value it's really a messy situation where its frustrating to stay still for 10 to not be allowed to play and ultimately lose, but the solution may be worse if the players don't accept it.

Reminds me of when yugioh was actually a game you played in stead of taking 10 minutes for a turn to make sure your opponent can't even take their turn
Well, we both are playing more control-orientated decks, though Dragonmaids are on the lower end of that.

dragonmaids again a Mayakashi deck. I’m a returning player new to competitive lost due to time out but dam that shit was fun

just had an intense back and forth duel like this last night where i almost lost by time out but managed to get the W. it was against sky strikers/eldlich/dpe (i was using dmaid/albaz) it was only 5 turns long but it was the most exhausting duel ive ever had. fun tho it was the most anime shit ever

i get the hait against eldlich i currently play it myself because i want to try out as many decks as possible and the first thing i noticed yes its a pretty brain dead deck but at least it lets you play the game for the most part unlike herald drytron where you get into a chain of 10 and in the end your ass still gets negated like hell
