Absolutely loved the tragic predictions for Monaco; Charles got pole but DNS, Ricciardo got lapped by his teammate in a race where they had a beautiful special livery, and Bottas as he said 'having the longest pitstop'.
Also, Sainz predictions were very impressive.
And predicted 4 podiums for him but it was Sainz the one to reach 4

Kimi wrote on that envelope that Abu Dhabi would be his last race in F1 on March. He didn't announce his retirement until September, must have had it planned all year.

Yepp exactly so he knew that. So I guess that's also the reason why he was like "nobody should read it" bc at that time when he wrote it, nobody knew it
And he trusted them to keep it secret. The most surprising thing is they did.

I was hoping he would actually provide more of a fight to Hamilton than Bottas did. After outqualifying Lewis twice this year in a Williams, it seems he might have the ability to do it.
But after seeing his Twitter post after Abu Dhabi. As well as this video where he's saying "Hamilton will win despite Red Bull having the quicker car" (the opposite happened, lol). It seems as though he's a bit of a Hamilton fan boy. Wouldn't be surprised if he's happy to just do the Bottas role tbh....

@@annaclaudiavieira1936 After spending some more time with his family, he might go racing again, either in rallying (it's Finland, the local priest, school bus driver and your grandmother are all rally drivers) or maybe an endurance series like ELMS or WEC with fewer rounds per year and way less media work. Kubica had a great year with Team WRT.

People forget or don’t know Lewis is has gotten pole position every season in F1, including during the Vettel/RB dominance era when McLaren were slowly declining. In fact in 2011 he was the ONLY non RB driver to grab pole position that year.

I remember being surprised when Kimi announced he was retiring, as I had thought he was going to stick around until the end of the 2022 season. The fact he had made up his mind before the 2021 season even began and continued on as he did says a lot about him. Hope he has an enjoyable retirement.
It made sense for him to retire now before the new regs come in and change things up significantly.
