It is not easy to understand you all all since you all talk in a very natural way of native speakers talking in real life; however,I do understand more on your talking but not for those two. All in all,I love listening to podcasts like this to practice listening when talking to real native speakers on the streets or wherever..Can you help check my English writing to see if there's any mistakes on it,and I am very appreciated.
This is my first time watching your video and i love it. There's subtitle available in case something i don't catch it so i can go back and play it again and put on the subtitle and read. i find this very helpful to improve my English because your prononciation is very articulate. Besides, i like this kind of talk and topics that everyone can easily understand.. And the two guests are very good. I have already subscrible your channel and please do more videos like this. Thanks
Btw of course we don’t call it Turkish toilets in Türkiye, if it is said by some French people aiming to humiliate or underestimate Turkish people, they must’ve forgotten that they’d throw their 💩 out of their balconies.
Yeah, definitely you might want to consider doing more "talking s*it episodes" down the line. When three of you guys gathering in one place it's a fairly an incendiary mixture. Keep it up! Greetings from Ukraine!
🤣🤣🤣. I was hiking in the mountains while listening to the podcast. Fortunately there was no one else around seeing (and hearing) me laughing out loud all the time ...
I've spent years studying English, since my adolscence. One day, I realised my speaking abilities were getting stuck because of a lack of using. I started studying Chemistry and left English behind over 3 years. I'm now catching up with my previous level with Luke's podcasts. I've got to say that I really notice a change, my brain started waking up its English skills and I'm very happy. I usually download the mp3 versions and listen to them when strolling every day. Thanks Luke!
I couldn't help but watch it so many times and even turn on the subtitles on TH-cam to make sure I understand everything while listening. This episode is the one that should be listened to carefully (I'm used to listening to it at 1.8x speed and, therefore, lost some details). I appreciate your great effort, and the trio is brilliant.
Dear Mr. Luke im writing from Turkey to just share my thoughts about these episodes in general and i wanna appreciate what ur doing. I listened and still listening your podcasts, youtube videos and other stuff. I really love the way you do ur work with great care and lots of effort. I have been listening to you for nearly two years and I have learned many many things from art to culture, education to sport etc. I find them really benefical for those who want to get exposed to a foreign language or improve their language skills. I listen to you while im having a breakfast, before going to bed, while cleaning my room etc etc. I also really love ur accent and I hope these podcasts and videos be continue for a long time. Im glad to listen to them always. Thanks for ur contributions to language learners society.
I have had a lot of fun and enjoyed every bit of the episode. thanks a lot for all three of you. I think in this episode Amber did get the chance to talk much. Anyway it was good episode. I also have jotted down some vocabularies I have learned from this episode. I want to share it with other vocab hunters. Here is my list of vocabularies starting with 1.todger 2.bladder 3.defecate 4.faecal matter 5.buffer zone 6.rim {of the toilet} 7.segue 8. to flail 9.rash 10. to miss the boat/buss 11. disingenuous 12. chiropractor 13. hoof(pl: hooves/hoofs )
Wow! First of all, it was one terrific episode with sparkling (as a clean toilet) humor. Secondly, while watching this I had this feeling that I'm in the company of my closest friends. It was a very cozy, soothing, and sort of immersing feeling. Thank you very much for this, guys. Please, do such episodes as often as possible.
I very liked the whole conversation and thank you. As for Turkish toilet, it is a fact! Thanks to it :)) In Turkey, we have also word for the French. In addition to Turkish toilet (alaturka), we have also another type of toilet (more modern one, you can sit). It is called "alafranga" refers to France :)) Toilets.. Nations.. and sweet prejudices :)) Thank you again 🙏
In Turkey, it is called "alaturka" toilet, which means old-style toilet, but when I put this word into the dictionary to find its English equivalent, it surprisingly says Turkish-style toilet. But alaturka means old-fashioned, which we use from time to time to describe something else.
You can't imagine Luke, how I enjoy these episodes with Amber and Paul. I even don't know how many times I've listened to their previous episodes. At first it seems a little difficult to get used to the speed of the conversation but listening for a couple of times gives me a great pleasure. And today when I heard this episode and laughed at the countless jokes that you all cracked, I really felt something in my heart. I was happy that I can make good use of your sense of humor. Anyway, I hope we listen more from you 👌
I really enjoyed this episode, I mean... I always enjoy them, but this was so funny.😂 I have been listening since I started to study English, and I have have done a big improvement with your podcasts😊
Hey Luke, it is a good idea to use the materials available in the toilet to clean the toilet seat before sit on it as long as someone is not that desperate to use it and they have patience and bladder capacity to hold it back until they have finished cleaning them. What I normally do when I use public toilets is, I use the paper towels available to lay them on the seat so my skin wouldn't directly in contact with the surface of the seat.
This was just amazing! I've known you from your audio podcasts but seeing your conversation as a video is a totally different ball game. 😂People watching this simply learn English from the video even if they didn't want to. 😆And the lovely British accent - thank you so much!
32:00 In Turkey we call toilets as "alaturka" and "alafranga". Both types of toilets are being built in houses, but alafranga toilets are more common in public restrooms, especially in tourist areas.
I really appreciate your help ❤️ , efforts And your regularity in presenting these valuable podcasts at regular intervals.. it is so easy for anyone to make TH-cam channel, but it is so hard for them to continue and present precious episodes like which you've used to do... Luke ,.I like podcasts that you interviewed your father and your mother,, please interview them again and again especially your father..
Ah yeah! The legendary trio is back on the podcast!) My Sunday felt a bit gloomy and grey but having you almost with me in my room, lifted the spirits up and made me laugh several times (But also I got some valuable knowledge on various "toilet practices", priceless content...and for free o_O). Thank you!!
For me, having only been learning English for four years on my own, discovering this blog is an invaluable help. It's easier to read and write because you can do it yourself. It's harder to learn to speak so as to be understood. It's worth learning at any age (I'm 53) for my own development...for fun...I didn't need English at work when I started. But maybe next year I'll need it....sometimes the next goal comes when you start doing something.
This episode was hilarious 😂 I find myself repeating this on the video and podcast. Great to learn many phrases and vocabularies while laughing so much😊
Thanks you very much Luke for your ingeniosity. You takled a subject that seem to be a taboo for many persons. Your conversation is very rich, you deeped very deep. I appreciated. Dieudonné
Hi Luke! I'm fascinated by weird videos like yours. They are quite entertaining and funny. Go ahead with them!!! Despite today's dirty start 😅. If they didn't exist yet, they would have to be invented 🤗
Hi, i am a new follower on your channel. I started listening about this topic, it's easy to understand even my listening skill is beginner level (fun😂) . Anyway i will keep listening English from native accent. To familiar with the voice and sound. Thank you. 🙏
I saw and listened the by TH-cam Kkkk Paul is almost weird and most bold You stood like a diplomat so that the conversation cloud not go strait down It was ok A real conversation between close friends that d’ont care about etics or polite behvior till one certain print I had fun and laughed a lot 😂😂😂☺️
At the end of the video, when you were talking about weird videos, the horseshoe thing was the first thing that came to my mind 🤣🤣🤣 And bang Luke just told the same 🤣
I have listened to every episode of the podcast. Literally every single episode . I have been listening to you since 2017 ,but its the first time to watch an episode. And wow #Amber you look so beautiful as your voice #Paul you look funny as your jokes 🤪🤪kidding. Im saying you visual jokes even funnier. Mr #Luke I don’t know what to say you are just amaaaaazing as always. You are like yoda to me. Love you all ❤️ ❤️ ❤️.
Oh boy that episode cracked me up quite a bit. But I have to say that I listened to the podcast version of it. Well done! LEP is really unique and unfortunately, I still haven't found a similar show in Italian or French so that I can hone some of my other target languages. That would make me a listening master in no time! Hahahaha! Cheers, Daniel.
I have to admit that I've never thought about the toilet seat issue from men's perspective. In my household, we just put the whole toilet cover down and flush it after use even before the pandemic.

That was absolutely the most amazing toilet conversation I’ve ever encountered 😂
Btw of course we don’t call it Turkish toilets in Türkiye, if it is said by some French people aiming to humiliate or underestimate Turkish people, they must’ve forgotten that they’d throw their 💩 out of their balconies.
I think we need more episodes of us talking rubbish together. Great title by the way 😊
Thanks. I came up with it myself 👍
More episodes with you are appreciated!
