Maybe stop coming into work sick yourself? My boss has come to work sick twice in the past month and I caught it. First, he gave me Influenza A which kept me out of the office for a week although I tried to keep up working remotely even though I was horribly ill, and now he's given me a terrible cold with fever and a sore throat because he came in to work sick yet again. He knew he was sick both times but he's one of those who has the mentality that it shows how dedicated he is if he comes in while sick. If you have an employee who calls in sick multiple times, you might look into your own contribution to that or whether your office has a culture that puts people in the position of working when sick and therefore passing it around to their coworkers.
Offer them part time
They’re the worst and repeat offenders! Calling out when they work 2 days a week! 😆
