A big thumbs up to you for encouraging young folks to get their pilot's certificate. Very cool of you to give of your time and aircraft to take him up for a flight! Kudos!

First of all I want to thank you for all your efforts and time you have devoted to this chanel. As an aviation enthusiast I have truly gotten a lot of pleasure watching everyone of the videos you have posted. I did get my private Pilot single engine land certificate back in the 80's but I don't fly anymore. Circumstances just happened but aviation is still in my blood. One of the greatest experiences I had was being able to meet CAPT. E.B. Jeppesen. Back in 1991 I happened to work for a company in Denver and the building was owned by Mr. Jeppesen. It just so happened to be that the manager of the business was friends with Jeppesen. Well this manager knew that I was an aviation buff. One day while at work he came up to me and said He needed me to make a personal package delivery. I said no problem. This delivery was to be made to Capt. Jepp. himself right to the door step of his house! I couldn't believe it. I was only 23 at the time and I remember that during this period, the new Denver International Airport was being built along with the Terminal being named after Jeppesen in his honor. Well, to wrap up this story, when I got to his house I rang the door bell and his wife answered the door; if you know the history of Mr. Jeppesen then you know about her background way back in the day when she worked for United Airlines. She welcomed me into their house and took me into the study/office where the CAPT. was. I remember just being so overwhelmed at the sight of the photos he had displayed of some of the people he became friends with over the decades. Does Jimmy Doolittle ring a bell? Jeppesen was a very humble man and to this day I cherish that opportunity I had to meet him. I'll never forget that manager of the company I worked for that gave me that chance of a lifetime to meet the man that pioneered the path for aviation the way he did. I always enjoy telling this story to fellow pilots and others with a passion for flying. Anyways, thank you again for taking time to share your passions. please continue to post more videos. Your work is definitely appreciated. Happy flying and Godspeed.

I've watch nearly every one of your excellent videos. Your navigation and piloting skills are excellent. Very, very skilled and knowledgeable. You make flying single pilot IFR in a jet look simple. Most pilots know it's not. It's a credit to your military and extensive hours in the air. Thanks for sharing your flights with us. Keep them coming.

Heard you say your children are not interested in aviation, that is a bummer. I wish I was a young relative so I could get in that right seat. I started flying in 1966. Didn't finish then as I went and served my country but did manage to find enough money to finish in 1976 even though I got married and had one son. I dearly love flying but just couldn't continue due to the lack of extra funds and other responsibilities, like putting food on the table. I love your videos. I sorta put myself in that right seat.... and try to imagine, what if? Thanks for taking us/me with you. Jerry

As per usual, an excellent video! Having lived in Sarasota many years ago, I was pleased to see my old stomping grounds. I had to chuckle to myself when you made the comment about the youngsters being a bit more adept at learning to fly. I obtained my pvt ticket in the late 80's. Now, in the twilight of my current career, I am chasing a commercial license to start a new one. Fingers crossed that somewhere inside, I am still a youngster.

Before I earned my private pilots license I played MS Flight Simulator all the time. Even connected to the virtual ATC network VATSIM. After well over 10 years of doing that once I started my actual training I breezed right thorough. Had the terminology down easy. The written test was a piece of cake and had no trouble with the practical exam. MSFS definitely gives the potential real life pilot an edge.

Nice view of the community of Rotonda West, Florida at 44.34 followed by Cayo Costa, Captiva, and Sanibel Islands - some of the best beaches in the world along the SW Florida Gulf Coast. Not a pilot but like airplanes and enjoy all your videos. Too old to become a pilot, so this is the closest I will ever get to a private jet. Absolutely awesome videos - hooked. Great single pilot IFR skills in such a complex plane! So cool. I bought and flew a Beech Duke from Denver to my home country New Zealand a few years ago. FAA ferry permit for 2000lbs overweight with 3 extra ferry tanks. Nearest to kero for me so far was right seat with a kind pilot who let me take off and land an Eclipse a year ago TX-AZ - just loved it. Kero on the radar one day. My other plane a PA32 for local bush trips. My 2 sons 12 and 14yrs have been hard to get them interested in aviation like your family - then the 12 yr was flying last week back from our bush camping trip. Often 10 minutes on the control wheel, then they both lose interest. Then I took less interest when they flew and then said close to the circuit which runway we would use. Both he and I would assume I would take over soon so he wasn't concerned. I adjusted power, flaps, guessed trim etc and he kept flying which he did until just before touchdown. We were both shocked that it happened that way and he had done such a great job on the approach. See what happens next flight! I love the glass and the tech stuff for my IFR so don't hesitate to have more EFIS and FMS. Can you edit as an inset?

Hi I want to say Thanks for letting us fly along with you aboard the Premier. Your airwork is superb . I liked the Indy to RSW and also the transatlantic crossing. Your editing is great and I know that takes a bunch of time, nice work. I am also a sim pilot ( on x-plane) and your Florida flights are also really good as I live there ( nearest KPMP, but also between KFXE. ) so I have done a lot of the approaches and airports you have shown. Safe flying in 2016 and again Thanks Steve A.

I appreciate your videos. As a grounded (financially) pilot and former aircraft owner (48 Cessna 140) with a bunch of hours and experience, I mainly fly my sim and usually fly a sim of each of your flights. I had expected to become a lot wealthier than my actual outcome and had to stop flying due to expense. No sour grapes but rather, sadness but a lot of great flights under my belt. I heard you mention Emory at KRFD. You may know Steve Thomas who I believe is the owner and also an old friend and owner of C77 where I got my ticket years ago and hangered my 140. Thanks again and keep that GoPro on. Regards, Pat Glass.

    Premier 1 Driver,
Your videos are awesome, you lucky SOB. I say lucky in the sense that you have made your own luck. My love of flying dates back to 1967 when I obtained my pilot's license...that suggests how old I am, but when it comes to flying I am still young at heart. My career hopes of being a pilot got sidetracked in the early seventies when I became a law enforcement officer for the next 35 years. A couple years ago for our (30th wedding anniversary) I rented a Phenom 100 for a flight from our home in San Diego to Vancouver, BC...the highlight in my otherwise lifelong grounded experience. Through your videos, I have vigorously returned to the skies once again. I thank you. Anytime you need a right side passenger, I will pay to fly out to Indiana and me you for a ride.

Any former Pilot's with several hundred hours in several different airplanes should watch this man's channel. I'm currently disqualified from obtaining a new medical so I can't fly without another pilot... unless I'm flying a friend's cub over Crockett National Forest.... Being disabled will redirect your life. ¿Gregg, I appreciate you doing what your doing. I was planning from a young age to accomplish what you have done.
I believe you are an excellent representative of a Human.
Is there a plane more fun to fly than The F-16?
      Have you flown the F-15?
Those newer Russian fighter Jets are something else. Those are the ultimate equipment to be flying from what I've seen.

Epic video. Love the new format. I also love the explanations of your routes, the SIDs and STARs and navigation points (that way, I can follow along!). Thanks for the vids. Hope you had a great Christmas!

Really enjoy your videos. I feel like I'm in the right seat. Great views, crisp video, and perfect amount of narrative. Recently took my first intro flight in a Cirrus SR22 out of KHPN. Exhilirating!! I can only imagine the feeling at 450KIAS! :-)

Must admit, thats a very interesting location to put a storage compartment, right in the Nose of the jet, but if there is extra room in a jet where there really isnt anything, this works out really well.....

Your boat analogy is spot on. I went out a few times with friends who had a really nice Sea Ray. Always great to have friends with nice things that enjoy sharing. Glad you enjoy sharing your flights via TH-cam. I noticed as you climb out, you always switch on the yaw damper. Had to look that one up to see exactly what it does. Learned about "Dutch Roll" today. :thumb Also, got a view of a strange piece of geography north of Sanibel. Rotonda West development. Interesting story. That took me down another rabbit hole for a half hour. :-) I learn about the most interesting things on the internet.

These are my favorite videos on the net. I don't have a medical right now so can't fly myself and I've never flown with a glass cockpit and in a jet. Want to fly so much, these videos at least allow us to vicariously enjoy the sensation from a pilots perspective. Keep all those trivial boring bits in, they are what includes us in the ride. On this flight I liked having the cabin sound. Loved the sound of those engines starting up.
I love the multiple camera angles. I like that you listen to the feedback and try to accommodate the requests. The production quality is excellent! Wondered why you had to use the copilot side to listen to the Atis?
If I were to ask for anything more it would be to see more closeups of the displays. Love the Premier but always wanted to fly an Avanti.
    Please keep the videos coming.

+MrMihawes Yeah, I've been trying to sort out the camera angles that work. I end up with the co-pilot side having most of the cameras over there so it just is easier to have the camera over there with the intercom audio. It is also easier when I can see my mouth move to match up the audio. I could do the audio clap to generate the spike for synching but that isn't always appreciated by those in the back.

    Servus Capt. Mink,
    again a great video
    especially interesting about it is:
    x ATC in American English
x good pictures of the Flight Instruments and interesting to see
x To see the work in the cockpit
    x your comments
x and I am still learning new
Is certainly a lot of work to make the video, thank you very much and always a safe landing

I liked this one Greg. What a beautiful airplane. Thank you for letting me fly with you on You tube. I love your videos. When you are on autopilot the yoke is still. Excellent choice on a small jet. Would you ever be interested in flying a Gulfstream or a larger private jet?

thanks for the videos. I'm getting my private pilot license currently and, as a business owner myself, your videos keep me motivated to continue my training to potentially get a plane myself. Goal is in the next couple years be able to purchase a Cessna 421 to get around for business and personal use. I'd love to connect sometime via email to hear any landmines in purchasing for business I should keep an eye out for.

At 39:01, isn't it awesome how the clouds just below him start forming right at the coast more or less? Look to his right over the gulf and how the lack of clouds appear.
