Inside vs Outside Challenge
Make 2 teams, one in each conference. One should be the best at interior scoring, blocks/paint def & tall while the other is best at outside shooting, steals/perimeter def & short. Make them meet in the Finals and see who wins.

That's pretty much gonna be the inside guys winning. 3 points to be made about them:
1. They can bully in the paint to score more.
2. They excel at rebounding so they deny second chance points to the outside guys and they get more second chance scoring too.
3. And finally, most inside guys have at least okay perimeter defense in 2K while the outside guys do not have good inside defense and are not gonna be able to defend inside at all no matter how good their steal ratings might be.
It's pretty much no contest that the inside guys win in 2K simulations.
I think you gotta rebuild the jazz now. Make it as realistic as possible so you’re not using all the picks in 1 year. Maybe compare it to the thunder cause they seem to be on the same path

I mean between Rudy and Spida they got 10? First round picks in the next 6 years? Plus the 22nd overall pick this year, and some pieces in Sexton they can flip, they already traded beverly and got a young guy in THT, I say they have a good stash of picks now. They will be able to do a quick turnaround between their picks and how the next few years of prospects look

@@joshucamereeno8155 fair. I just like the fact that they got so many unprotected picks from both teams. Unlike OKC who have weird protected picks that if they don't fulfill by a certain year they are exhumed back to the original team
@@Ni_ghtmare oh yeah OKC prioritized quantity over quality for sure as far as their picks go. Utah got a war chest of unprotected picks in case the protected ones don’t work out. I’d argue Utah’s pick collection is probably stronger than OKC for that reason alone

Interesting concept what if schedule sports like nba or nfl were more like contract like boxing you have to sign agains every team atleast once but you can choose you’re order. Say you think your team still needs a little development so you wanna play an easier team both teams would benefit from it

Try to win a championship under the 1-16 playoff format. That would actually provide more interesting matchups. Also, could you do a re-sim of D-Wade's career if he was a decent 3pt shooter? Not that he ever needed it, but it's just a fun thought I always had.

Kenny, you should try the “no all star challenge” using current players you have to try and win 3 rings with 0 all stars. It’s okay if one of your players becomes a first time all star in that season but you must trade them in that off season.

starting off 1-3 losing to bad teams is crazy but just remember phoenix started off 1-3 losing to denver sacramento and portland and only lost 15 more games the rest of the season

I like that rule change that the BEST teams regardless of conference would be in the playoffs
personally, i feel like that would ruin the point of conferences and also it would really just ruin the fun imo. i love rooting against other eastern conference teams in the playoffs. it would also probably be unfair like say the cavs get the 1 seed and a team like the thunder get the 16th seed, theyve only played 1 game against eachother so neither really have any idea on eachothwr and that feels a little silly.

Every year, you get the top 5 picks in the draft. You can keep them or trade them but whatever comes from those players for the next 3 seasons, has to deleted and taken away after 3 seasons. rinse and repeat until 3 peat ( the rest of the team is 40 overalls )
Makes zero sense how that jazz team beat that cavs team in 7 games.
