Sealed boxes will always outpace the price of the singles in the set, so as it pertains to investing, keep it sealed and hold onto it for 5 years or more and you'll make profit, open it and lose money right away or lose it when they reprint the chase cards again in the next set lol.
this dudes "happy snicker" is priceless 3:5014:3714:4915:0515:2817:09 one against the next, 14:37 takes the cake! this snicker is WAAY better than joey Moss's Bell...just sayin
As a commander player myself: I can definitely understand how WOTC seems to be loving Commander the most out of all of it's formats. However, it is probably because it is the most common for people to play anymore
I agree and as I said it's nothing against the format at all, I just feel that putting all your eggs into one basket is never a good thing. There are many great formats and they should ALL be looked after.
those 3 cards that "paid for your box" you can pick them all up for about $40 presale. they don't get valuable until you get the anime versions and confetti foils. just wizards killing expensive cards with reprints. we know the deal by now. STILL a great box, glad you had fun with it. was a good watch. BY FAR a better purchase than commander masters.
I really have no interest in the commander format. I have never played a commander game and any commander set cards I get I will probably just use as normal and ignore the commander specific abilities.
How much was the estimated price of all the cards you pulled? Will it be a good investment to buy a set box?

Yeah it's more just about getting actual usable chase cards in the boxes, something I felt like I never accomplished in CMM.
Nice pulls Dan would definitely put my money in this set instead of commander masters
