Losing shane sucked. 10 years ago i had tickets to a festival and the pougues were on the list of bands, but the fest didnt sell enough tix so it was cancled. Broke my heart. Like 25 years ago i saw a documentry about shane called " if i fall from grace of god" i had never heard of him. I fell in love with that goof that night. Such great songs. Never another shane.
I am a 51 year old woman and miss him more every day, though I never really followed his work. But it is infectious how wonderful he is with people, and singing, Shame that he has not been nicer to himself.
Hard to believe that he lived for 18 years after this, really sad to lose Sinead and Shane in the same year, there are lots of talented artists/musicians, but both of them had immense talent but neither became pawns of the music moguls.

I know she can play 5+ instruments and loves all pillars of music.. but WOW.. She is an understated cool girl xxx
