Everyone's saying it sounds just like Wintersun, but it sounds way more like old Ensiferum.
Doesnt matter if they sounds like other big bands... it is still MELODEATH and I like it. \m/
Scrolling through the comments - no, you simpletons, this does not sound like Wintersun. Why do you say that? because there are orchestral synths? Sounds closer to Frosttide than Wintersun, but still it's not like Frosttide. This song (can't speak for the band, not familiar with them, just this song) has its own atmosphere. Not like any other band. The vocals are reminiscent of early COB, but still not like Aleksi. Hell the piano makes me think of Becoming the Archetype. Doesn't mean they sound like them or they're trying to copy them. If you think this band is a copy of some other band, you need to listen to more non-mainstream Metal.

Black Forest - great work you guys. This popped up as a recommended vid after a Brymir video. Very cool, great sound, great album art. I had never heard of you before last week, I will be checking out more of your stuff. Great atmosphere, I love it when I can zone out and get lost in the world created by the music. It draws me in to somewhere far, far away and I can forget everything here, and get lost there, wherever it is taking me. Music should always feel this real.

Well if what you dont enjoy are the melodies hope they dont listen to you cause not everything has to sound like growling antimelodic crap. Fair enough that you dont enjoy it, just check other bands that may make the noise you seek for , dont try to destroy others. Their melodies are harmonies are utterly beautiful.

Better then wintersun. Wintersuns last two albums were not that good. Their first was awesome. They say crowdfund to build new studio so they can make albums all the time but so far nothing. I'm getting annoyed with them. So yeah please someone take wintersuns spot.
Wintersun's studio is a project for like a decade or so. They will do multiple crowdfunding rounds with albums and tours in between.
I liked Time I but The Forest Seasons let me down a bit :/ not terrible by any means but it's all lacking the magical intensity of the first release.
