Este y el paseo a Tommy Haas en AO, ese mismo año. Le sumaría también la remontada contra el cagón de Blake en la Davis. Ahí está mi podio al menos.
Deberías ver cuando le ganó a Nadal en cuartos de final en el Australian Open en 3 set consecutivos, fué un partidazo, el Feña hizo pedazos a Nadal a puros derechazos, respetando tu opinión, para mi ese fué tal vez el mejor partido de González.

Yo diria que fue buena y mala suerte a la vez, mala por el lado que quiza habria llegado todavia mas lejos si ellos no hubieran existido, pero si lo vez por el lado del gozo personal, es buena suerte de que se dio el lujo de jugar contra ellos en su Prime y encima vencerlos en torneos importantes, yo creo que gonzalez está totalmente satisfecho (encima darse el lujo de ser campeon olimpico)

I always support people with great heart in all sports , Gonzales was one of them , unfortunatly he didnot win alot of trophies like Nadal , Fedrer and Djokovic but we all have to admit he was such a great tennis player

¡PARTIDAZO! . Gonzalez le ganó a los mejores tenistas de la historia (en partidos oficiales) y a varios que eran número uno en su momento. Derrotó a Federer, Nadal y Sampras. Además tiene tres medallas olímpicas. Para mi gusto, el mejor tenista chileno de la historia, porque para ser grande hay que ganarle a los mejores y en su mejor momento. Además, todo un caballero. Merecía llegar al número 1.
La disciplina al final derrota al talento, esa disciplina que le faltó al chino.

@@mitofree7283 Claro, pero Alcaraz es el actual número 1 y aunque ha jugado espectacular creo que ha tenido algo suerte para llegar a ser 1, principalmente por el veto a Djokovic, descontándole puntos brutales, un Zverev lesionado recuperándose y finalmente un Nadal reventado por sus antiguas lesiones. Si González que fue 5 del mundo hubiera estado en ese momento y oportunidad, seguramente hubiera sido 1, pero hay épocas y momentos, a González le toco una completamente difícil, en comparación a otros números 1 del mundo.

Que alegría y orgullo me daba ver al Feña compitiendo ante los mejores jugadores del mundo...ante probablemente el mejor de todos los tiempos en este partido. Fernando González no solo me hacía ver y disfrutar el tenis, sino también me hacía vivirlo, de la manera que lo jugaba. Era un jugador muy completo, este partido lo ganó el día de mi cumpleaños, lo recuerdo siempre.

We have to thank Gonzales here, as by beating Roger in this match, he made Roger go into Monster Mode. To this day I think this tournament was Federer’s best performance of his career. He went on to crush all of his opponents after this match

The backhand of Gonzalez was unbelievable in that match and probably won it for him. Only in the third set 5-5 game he unleashed his forehand at full speed, before that he was playing it safe most of the time. Seen him playing up close at RG against Wawrinka, it was impossible to follow his forehand motion as it was so fast.
