Thank you so much for all this super useful information Craig, from a fine curly girl. Yes please on the gift sets, skin and or hair 😊 / For favorite hair products from the drugstore - Pantene Volume Shampoo ( the clear one ) as a once a week or so clarifying shampoo, Dove Intensive Repair shampoo and Conditioner, Pantene Rescue ( gold packaging ) for a deep conditioner, L'Oreal 8 Second Wonder Water....
You’re SO welcome, so glad you enjoyed it. There is a gift set/hair video that went up last night! Pantene gets knocked a lot but it’s not a bad line, thanks for sharing.
You’re most welcome, thanks for watching. Ok, noted…I’m sure that videos will happen. I love the Ordinary serum, still testing but I’m impressed so far.
💖. Thanks. What fun! Love your Boots. You are so lucky to have so much choice. Where I come from, our “pharmacies”(😂another word😂) only really have the basics. However!! Everything can be found online, so a video on hair growth scalp serums would be marvellous! Have tried Minoxidil before. Don’t know if there’s anything better? Thank you again! Always love your content to bits! 💖 xxx
Brand new subscriber here. I just found your channel today and I have been binge-watching your videos. I have always had fine, curly hair but as I have turned 29 a few times now it has gotten dramatically thinner. I also have a very oily scalp with dry mids to ends. I am completely overwhelmed by the number of products available and have a sizable hair product “graveyard” in under my sink. I get lost in the terminology and marketing so I am not sure what to try. I see a dermatologist and my hair stylist is fab but I am struggling to find products that will add texture and plump up my hair strands. I know that it is not a permanent fix but I am very self-conscious about my scalp shining through my greying, cotton-candy like hair. Any suggestions provided would be very greatly appreciated. 💙
Hi there, thanks for subscribing and sharing your hair history. I do mention products that physically plump up the hair in the video - the Nioxin line is a good one, always use both the shampoo and conditioner.
Thanks Craig, some great information there which is very helpful. I have fine, straight hair and I find the Bed Head Motor Mouth mega volumizer to be quite good for volume. I will definitely be trying some of the products you mentioned in the video!
Craig, you know I love all your videos but I could nevah venture into a non-high end shop, I do appreciate this video though. I love the Aveda thickening range.
Thanks for another great video. Yes would be interested on the outcome of the scalp serum, and any videos on that sort of thing. I've used a few scalp tonics that claim to promote hair growth and stop hair fall, bit dissapointing. I see head & shoulders now have a scalp treatment dermaXpro to moisturise dry scalp, apparently has great reviews. 😊
You’re most welcome. I do have a video that features The Ordinary serum already here on my channel. Kerasilk is good but it’s really only a cosmetic line - it’s not repairing on any significant level.
Hi Craig, thank you for doing this for us. In another video u mentioned the volume lift shampoo from J Frieda and ofc i went out for it. Well, my hair likes it more than the other expensive products i hoarded in my bathroom 😳🤦♀️🤷♀️ Craig do you advise to always go for the pair shampoo+conditioner from the same range? I've seen a vid saying get the cheap shampoo, buy the expensive conditioner - is it? 🤔
Hello! You’re most welcome, I’m so glad you enjoyed it and your hair likes the recommendations. No, that’s not true - pair them together…especially if it’s for volume, they will complement each other from a formula pov.
Awww, thanks for watching, so pleased you’re enjoying them. We don’t really have “dollar stores” in the UK - there is an equivalent but the hair selection is very, very limited.
Whoever needs this: from experience - i have oily scalp, color treated wavy hair and hard water 😅 John Frieda filler line was a waist of money for me didn't do much,no thickening, conditioning wasn't really something special. Alpecin shampoo will give you volume but is VERY drying plus it smells like a after shave. The tonic works good against hair fall but the applicatior is very crude and it's very difficult to dose it right.Plus the smell is very overwhelming and in the beginning it can almost burn on your scalp. The elvive dru shampoo didn't work for me,left weird residue and no added volume Thx for the video Oh yeah and tressemme the 24 h volume and collagen is my favorite for really clean scalp - it contains EDTA (if I'm not mistaken) that breaks down the hard water buildup
@@skulltaylor1616 😅a bit contradicting don't you think?! First you tell me you nobody cares about my experience and then you push your own opinion on me😄so go get your self some "sense" 😅😅😅

Hi Craig love your videos can you tell me what the actual difference between drugstore and salon shampoo is my hairdresser tells me that drugstore hair are has lots of bad ingredients and metals in them but I’ve tried redken volume injection and the Loreal elvive hyalaronic line and I prefer the elvive as it left my hair feeling better and lasted longer before getting oily so are drugstore shampoos really that bad ?
Hi there, I think I just pointed you in the right direction to videos here on my channel. That’s just not true - there really isn’t a lot of difference. Have a watch of my other shop up videos and the “how to get the best of shampoo” video.
HI Craig, I have low density, wavy hair that lately is to soft! I feel to the point of wanting to skip conditioner It has always been fine but before it started thinning i had quite a bit of hair that was very dry Any thoughts?
Hi Gail, you could skip conditioner if you’re finding your hair too soft - perhaps some of the shampoos/conditioners I mentioned that work together to give volume would be helpful…I know Pureology have one and Nixoxins line works in the same way.
Thanks for watching! Was there anything in the video you might try? 👨🏻🙏🏻⭐️
@@theworldofcraig I am going to try the John Frieda Line I’m gonna try the shampoo conditioner and the spray altogether and see how that works.
@@RoseRomero-y4cYou’ll have to let me know how you get on?!

As a fine wavy haired individual who gets lost in the hair care aisle - thank you so much for this video !
Awww, that’s great that it was helpful, thanks for watching.
I just shared this with my daughter. She has fine curly hair and has problems finding products that won't weigh down her hair.
Thanks for watching…and sharing, I hope it helps. 👨🏻🙏🏻✨

Dear Greg, what do you think about CATHIONIC shampoos and conditioners (like THE "CHI" line)? Thanks ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
There are a lot of shampoos that use cationic surfactants - most surfactants are cationic.
