I'm glad you're so down to earth and tell us what we need to know. There's a hairdresser on TH-cam who always says that drugstore products are rubbish and you should only use salon quality but not all of us can afford them on a regular basis ❤
And I’m so glad you’re watching my content, I’m so pleased I can help. Alas there are a lot of ill informed people that love to get the “clicks” on social platform. 👨🏻🙏🏻✅
Yes please to a Curly product video! It's a minefield out there! What can we use that is just as good as a curly branded product please. I've recently used things you've recommended, that are not for curly hair, and they've been great. I'm learning loads from you so keep up the good work. Thank you🎉
Amazing 👏 I am just a wavy haired (similar to 2B curls) consumer and wanted to leave my experience here to reiterate everything you say: Protein: it depends how the product is formulated, I have had a bad experience with the Fructis Keratin Smooth pre-shampoo treatment, because it made my wavy hair kind of lose its waves temporarily. but I had a great experience with a different Korean brand (Elizavecca) that has a more balanced formulation :) K18: I have my natural hair colour and my hair is not damaged, still this product was very useful in helping my hair find its waves and accentuate them, now it is doing what it's supposed to. Silicones: I do use them in multiple products, they are great for wavy/curly hair too. Helps with length retention hence growth too. Sulfates: great, removes silicone buildup - need to use it hand in hand with silicones for healthy scalp and hair cleansing. We need more professional videos online enlightening consumers to eradicate all the misinformation that has been spreading. ❣
Great! There is a series here on my channel titled “Hair Colour facts” there’s a lot of “myth” busting in there…and many of my other videos on different topics have this style of sharing info.
Curly hair person needs all the advice she can get! Silicones and sulfates have been demonized for curly hair, however everyone is different. I need to get my scalp and hair clean from products and to prevent buildup. Only SLS work for me. Sometimes I need a touch of silicone to smooth things out. While traveling in a foreign country, I saw 50 vol at a beauty supply. Yikes! Goodbye hair
Thank you for finally debunking these myths. I saw a video on Facebook of a hairdresser rinsing off “box dye silicones” 😂😂😂 I was like what are you talking about 😅
Thanks for the myth busters, is very helpful. I’d love to see a curly hair video, as I recently discovered, my hair has turned curly the past few months and would love to see something on that please🤩🙋🏾♀️🌸
Another great video! I am a curly haired human and yes, I would love a video! I had bought a protein treatment from a beauty supply store once and it did dry my hair out, my hair loves moisture, but I have (based on your advice) started to bring in more products that contain protein, and stop being so afraid. So far so good! No extreme dry hay stack hair! I really believed my hair was super “protein sensitive” because when I would use products protein focused (ie joico K pack) my hair would look like straw. That just doesn’t work well for me, but I now realize I don’t have to become the protein police, and maybe the problem was just that those formulas either weren’t moisturizing enough… or just not best for me for whatever reasons.
Hey Craig, well I for one love your jumper and love your air quotes and the little gasps in the background! I was wondering- do you have an opinion on overnight hair masks or serums? Plus could you recommend some or do a video on Overnight products? 🙏🏻😊❤
Hi Nora, thanks for watching and for your kind words. So, most modern formulas repair within 20 minutes max, so the “overnight” is a marketing thing only. Once hair is dry no repair can be done - it would make a great video so thank you for the suggestion. 👨🏻🙏🏻✨
Awesome video Craig 👏 Sorry I'm late in commenting, busy week! I was going to say about shampoos with sodium laureth sulphates....I actually find that they make my naturally curly hair feel much softer than if I used sulphate free 🤔 😊
Hi Craig , iv only discovered you recently but binged whatched so many of your videos since then. Question please..Iv started using K18 ( twice so far) is it possible the alcohol content in the product could be drying my ends out? , my hair seems dry and tangly on the ends , my hair is long btw...is the Alcohol content high ..love your videos and energy ❤😊
Hi there, thanks for watching. No, the alcohol content in the leave in mask is minimal, its a delivery system for the peptide to repair - it might be that you’re hair needs a leave in for manageability, K18 has no oil or silicone it is purely to and strength.
@theworldofcraig that's great ! Thankyou so much for answering my question, I will continue to use it plus a moisture mask ..this channel is so helpful x :)
You are so likeable 😊fine and hair gal here, hair is getting greasy the next day and think loreal blondifier gloss shampoo is making my scalp itchy, am I going mad? SOS😊 not sure what to use anymore 🙈thank you
And you are very kind, thank you. It could be something in the formula, perhaps try going super minimal on ingredient - The Ordinary do a great shampoo and the Neutragena line is also fab.
Thank you so much for your reply, washed my hair with Pantene volume today and all good, must be loreal then😅 You make me miss London, left 2 years ago after 19 years, my second 🏡 All the best x
Hi Craig. Please help. I have white hair. White, as in grey hair. I’m 73. I want a box dye to give me tarty blonde colour….think Joanna Lumley . Many years ago when I changed my hair colour on a whim, there was a tendency for my hair to soak up any redness in the colour. Thank you so, so much.
@ OMG I can’t believe you’ve replied to me. What a darling you are. Well, the colour blonde of say, Joannna Lumley. Perhaps you can find a picture of her. I’ve had so many disasters I. The past of my hair turning a kind of red, on white/grey…..I now don’t know what to you use.
Hi Craig - I have a cheeky Shades EQ question if that’s ok? I’ve recently bought bottles of 07c curry and 06AA bonfire for my next demi session. I love 07c but find it comes up quite dark on my light brown hair (a dark auburn). If I add 50% 6AA will it lighten and give a more coppery effect or get overpowered by the darker colour and be a waste? Im not talented enough to do blends of the roots, lengths and ends with different formulas so am I better off using them separately?
Hi there. The 6AA will make it deeper as its lower on the base level - you need some Clear to dilute the tone, then it will appear lighter. Thanks for watching.
Silicones aren’t “bad” for my hair per se, but I have much better curls when I do not use silicones on my hair. I also don’t use sulphates because I have extremely dry hair and my curls are much better without using that ingredient. I don’t need a lot of “cleaning power” because I just don’t ever get greasy hair. I use a non sulphate, cream based shampoo from Cantù that I’m very happy with.
Is there a sell by date on k18 as it would not go white when I rubbed my hands together it was a year old because I thought it had to go white I threw it in the bin as thought it would damage my hair
It’s a couple of years once opened but tbh it will last longer than that. If you watch this weeks video it explains that it does not need to go white to work…
Wash and go doesn’t mean what you think it does. Curly girls, especially African American curly girls call washing, applying a bunch of products to their hair, and styling a “wash and go”. I don’t personally understand that myself
Thanks for watching! What’s your favourite myth that got BUSTED?! 👨🏻✅✨

Okey dokey, I’ll add it to my list for 2025! So glad some of my recommendations are working out. Thanks for watching 👨🏻🙏🏻✅
Yes, a Curly hair video would be great! Loved this one. ❤
Great, added to list. Thanks for watching, so pleased you enjoyed it. 👨🏻🙏🏻✅
Love learning from you! I would love a curly human video, being a curly human myself😂😂😍👏🏼
Awww, that’s great babes! Ok, leave it with me… 👨🏻⭐️👩🏼🦱

Yes! Curly-hair video would be very helpful! 😊 Thanks again, Craig!!!
Noted and coming in the new year.
Definitely do a curly product video!!

I think you can still find 60vol in some countries!
Yes to the curly hair video 😘
Marvellous. It’s ok my list for the new year!
Thank you for finally debunking these myths. I saw a video on Facebook of a hairdresser rinsing off “box dye silicones” 😂😂😂 I was like what are you talking about 😅
You’re most welcome, yes, there’s A LOT of it about. Thanks for watching, I’m so chuffed you’re enjoying my content. 👨🏻🙏🏻✅

I learned the tough way 40 volume is not my best friend 😮😂
Uh oh. Thanks for watching.
Thank you! I'm so relieved! ❤
Brilliant! 👨🏻🙏🏻✅
....wash & go...😂 I used to used that 😂😂😂
Yes, that’s a blast from the past eh - formulas have come a long way since then. 👨🏻✅⭐️
Another awesome video Craig!
Thank you! 👨🏻✅⭐️
Love the colour of your jumper.
Thank you 👨🏻🙏🏻✅
very informative video, thank you!

Neon Craig 007 I’m back to binge watching again . Really informative video ❤
Great to have you back! Thank you 👨🏻🙏🏻✅

Hi there, really tricky for me to help you remotely…and I’m not sure what you mean by “tarty”…?
@ OMG I can’t believe you’ve replied to me. What a darling you are. Well, the colour blonde of say, Joannna Lumley. Perhaps you can find a picture of her. I’ve had so many disasters I. The past of my hair turning a kind of red, on white/grey…..I now don’t know what to you use.
12:52 I trust 20vol more than 30/40 vol...id rather go low an slow!!
WAHOOO! That’s great to hear and I’m SO with you on that. Thanks for watching. 👨🏻🙏🏻✅
If I've run out of the matching developer for my color (and don't have time to buy more), then what can I use in order to do my color service?
I’m afraid the answer is get some more of what goes with, sorry but it does make a difference.
@ I agree with you. I was just hoping there was a loophole 😂 thanks so much for your help!

@ thanks Craig you are a superstar! Love your videos!!
I think the redken product you were talking about but could not remember the name of was P P T
That’s the one…and it was impossible to find a picture! Thanks for that.
@ your welcome x

It is always about what suits YOU at the end of the day. In many videos I mention how personal the choice of products is. Thanks for watching.
Is there a sell by date on k18 as it would not go white when I rubbed my hands together it was a year old because I thought it had to go white I threw it in the bin as thought it would damage my hair
It’s a couple of years once opened but tbh it will last longer than that. If you watch this weeks video it explains that it does not need to go white to work…
The way I envision 40v versus 20v:
Blasted clean by a firehose versus nice soak in a hot bath.
That’s a great analogy 👨🏻🙏🏻✨
Wash and go doesn’t mean what you think it does. Curly girls, especially African American curly girls call washing, applying a bunch of products to their hair, and styling a “wash and go”. I don’t personally understand that myself
Each to their own, thanks for watching.
Curly hair videos please 🙏🏾 ❤
Noted and coming in the new year!
Great videos. Maybe also have timestamps? Sending love
Thank you. The video automatically has “chapters” - I’m afraid my life is too hectic to spend more time on production. Thanks for watching.
Oooooo 😮
Wahooo!
Bust all those magical hair growth products and processes , be they ' natural ' or chemical, home remedies or bought at the chemist.
I do cover those in several of my recent videos - I think some of them are in my recent hair loss video.
@theworldofcraig I will look for them. Thanks!
