Howdy Stephen, I would love to see a series of training videos on the x32 edit, you explain and demonstrate things very well. I'm betting there are people like me that would enroll $$ in a course on how to use & mix a live band/event complete w/micing the instruments, & connecting/routing and running FOH & Monitors with x32 edit? Thank you for the videos you have already put out for us!
Hi Stephen, nice video. I also mix sound in the Mid Michigan area. I have used a variety of mixers and recently switched from a QSC TouchMix to a X32 Rack. I am exclusively using the x32 edit app on a PC using a 22” touchscreen monitor! Would love to see some videos on using this app! It’s extremely intricate and versatile. I believe your audience would gain more knowledge quicker using this app. As you have stated, mixing from the unit itself is not for the faint of heart! Thanks and keep up the good work! Happy to share what I learn as well!
Why EQ? Frequencies are the most fundamental subject that any good engineer needs to fully understand, as they make up the basis of sound. Great video BTW, but a high shelf after the 2K cut would also result in a cleaner sound overall (we call it "air")?
Thanks for the video watching from Uganda Africa. Have looked for a proper explanation mixing using the board it's self

Can you do it automatically
Unfortunately you can't do it automatically. However, you can call up presets built into the library. I'll make a video on this soon I'm thinking.
