I love Slovenia .You have probably most comfortable Climate in central Europe. Temperate climate on north and mediterranean along coastline. Beatiful nature .Safe neighbor's countries. Re David, one week for visiting Ljubljana only is way too much. You can visit it through in one day. Otherwise Ljubljana is an excellent starting point for daily trips to other places in Slovenia, like Bled, Bohinj, Kranjska Gora (1 day trip), Soča river and Goriška brda (Slovenian Toscana) (1 day), Postojna or/and Škocjan cave, Lipica, Piran (1day), Celje and Ptuj (1 day) etc...

"Avtohoton" je tudi Kraški ovčar. Drugače pa super lušna predstavitev. Verjetno se je kar težko odločit, kaj vključit in kaj ne.
Avtohtona je tudi človeška ribica.
Da ne pozabimo še cikasto govedo, štajersko kokoš, bovško ovco, soško postrv itd. avtohtonih pasem živali imamo kar nekaj :))
