An update on your thoughts a year later on peterson games would be awesome.

Thanks for the video and sharing your opinion.
I am really concerned that KoA's video will be bad for Petersen Games business. It has a lot of views and the people are writing comments under the video where they say that PG is a scam or con artist company. What absolutely is NOT true. I answered and corrected a few of the guys, but it is like a fight against windmills. Crazy how the video led them to these conclusions. I own Cthulhu Wars, Planet Apocalypse, ordered products from their website and everything arrived. The customer support is very good and on point like you said. They are replying after one business day. And Sandy Petersen is an amazing designer, I really love Cthulhu Wars and Planet Apocalypse. ❤️

I agree with you Boris, hence making this video! It's very sad to see :( they are rather shooting themselves in the foot in some ways though, but I REALLY hope this isn't going to badly affect the company too...losing PG would be a REAL blow to our industry, and a tragedy for Sandy and his family.

I kind of think the other business comment is accurate. He is pursuing money to produce and sell games to retailers rather than producing the games to send to the backers. It gives me a bad feeling that they can’t afford to deliver what they have promised and they are scrambling to find funds.

That’s quite likely true, but let’s remember if they don’t have the funds to deliver the projects isn’t it good that they try and get them?

A year later and now they're trying to getvus to pay more for shipping.

...and publish your personal data so that fellow backers can persuade you to pay :-)

first and last time I back peterson games. KOA is 100% correct.

As my comments in the video suggest, I might disagree that he's 100% correct, but he certainly had some fair points to make! I'd say 50% :P

Outstanding but delivered still doesn't make you not a risk. He or she is less of a risk than a person who has shown to not deliver, but any bank will tell you that the simple fact that you have multiple outstanding debts makes you a red flag, on that fact alone. Period. Still great video tho.

Agreed. Definitely need to lower the number of concurrent projects that are undelivered.... It's too much for a small company to effectively manage and so they all just end up running wildly over.

KoA is leaning hard into the clickbait content. I appreciate the measured response.

I WILL NEVER SUPPORT PETERSON GAMES EVER AGAIN. THERE ARE LOTS OF GRTEAT BOARD GAMEING COMPANIES OUT THERE. I LOVE TINY EPIC GAMES. I WILL SUPPORT THEM. BUT PETERSON GAMES USED OUR PLEDGE MONEY FROM HYPERSPACE TO FUND ANOTHER KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN. THAT IS EXTREMELY UNETHICAL. PLEDGED BACK IN 2019 AND NONE OF US HAVE RECIEVED NOTHING.

Peterson games totally rips people off on Kickstarter!!! They take pledges for new products, then place them on the backburner while they use that money for other products. I've backed dozens of KS games, and they are one of the worst.

Indeed; since this video it's clear to deduce that they were taking funds from one kickstarter to fund another and that this model wasn't working for them. In the meantime they've changed their project management to just do one kickstarter at a time until they have cleared the backlog...a process that will take them years I think judging how incredibly slow their progress has been on the Cthulhu Wars 4 and currently Hyperspace projects. Some people will regard that as a "rip off", but id argue thats when they don't deliver on the project. In this instance, that's still to be decided.
