People forget the heart tcity showed in that 5th round….unreal he was still battling like that after those third and fourth rounds….100% this fight needs to be in the hall of fame
Prime Volk was a monster and the fact that it hasn't even been a year since he went on the instant skid from arguable featherweight GOAT to 2 fight brutal KO losses is awful.
Gets him into his "signature move" and doesn't once recognize the one thing keeping him from guaranteeing the choke...pull the arm across and cut the angle. But no he rolls him to attempt the top control tri choke which is kind of easier BUT once again you need to pull the arm cross face and cut the angle to finish. If Brian TRIANGLE CITY Ortega had done that he would of been champ
Wow you should swing in the academy and show how it’s done sometime but first go 2.5 rounds and a few devastating punches from a defending champ….then slap the triangle on while under a barrage of punches and finish it 🤨
Volk should have never tooken that Islam fight. Curious to see how his career would’ve turned out if he stayed at FW. Ilia most likely still would’ve gotten the same result

Shouldn't have taken that short notice rematch, I had a bad feeling about it and then the level of KO probably led to the next KO, big bummer
