localizing with three vertical can throw off the GPS even two vertical. It’s best to use one only or four or more. I’ve had issues in the past doing this. The GPS will actually lie to you if you check it with a level afterwards I’ve had issues up to a half a foot vertically doing three only. I recommend using one vertical and when the localization is complete stake out the other control points that you didn’t use vertical on and check into them. You will see the elevations of the other control points. Let's say one of the Ctrl points elevation had a typo or a bad shot your Gps will try to fit it and it won't really tell you how bad it is because your telling it it's good. Best to run a level and check. Also use perimeter control to the site so things will be tight inside the job. If your a dealer should verify info your sending out. Ask a surveyor or Topcon rep if you need help. Your horizontal and vertical errors will go down the longer you record if you watch the error values.

I also don't believe you see vertical error until the 4th Ctrl point is observed. Let me know what you think.
