    Cool video and great performance by TLDP! The first time I saw them (or even heard of them) was when they played support to Florence & The Machine at Musgrave Park, Cork on 26 June 2023 and it's amazing to see just how much they've progressed and improved in the short period since then. I hope they have a long future ahead of them.

    Great vantage point!!! Especially valuable for:
    23:23 Sinner
    46:58 My Lady Of Mercy
    The long-shot really captures how the performances are combined - each player given their own moment to shine - to achieve a show of blazing theatricality!
    Thanks for recording and uploading this important and memorable gig!

      Thank you!
      And yeah, the long-shot views were both a preference for that exact reason you mention and also a necessity as I didn't want to be so involved with the filming as to miss the immersive experience. They truly are a phenomenal live band and I wanted to take it all in!

    Awesome, thanks so much for recording and sharing! But weird question, because now I'm obsessed: where were you?! We were standing at the rail on the balcony in almost the exact same spot! Older couple just to the right of you? Awesome that you recorded the Philly show, too!

    • @sah-win
      @sah-win  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, we may have been right next to each other! I think I remember there being couples on both sides of us. We were at the rail also. That's what helped me film without having to hold the camera in my sight line. I used the rail to support my hands so I could mostly focus on the show.

      @@sah-win My phone died halfway through their show, and I was so bummed! I guess there are no DMs on YT, so without saying too much on an open forum, mid-thirties guy, or mid-twenties girl? But only if you're comfortable answering!

      @@RagingZen0906 Damn, that is a bummer!
      I'm a little older, which is probably part of the reason why I am slightly uncomfortable with saying anything more, haha! Part of me is a little jealous that the "younger" generations are so free and open with their lives.

      @sah-win No problem, we're in our fifties, so no shame! I saw everyone from tweens to a guy in his seventies, so THLD is for everyone! The only other concert I've ever seen such a wide age-range of fans is Muse and look how they're doing! I'm pretty sure you were standing right next to us on our left!

    I mean, from a British perspective it's the 1990s America ignored. And I suspect it will continue to ignore it. It's not important in the same way that selling to your own nation isn't.

    ive seen in some comment people saying they remind them of so and so-this and that etc.....they are better than all those people put together....ive a feeling we will only get a few albums and they will dissappear..which happens to some really greats....I HOPE NOT, i love this band..discovered them 2 days ago

    • @sah-win
      @sah-win  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree! (mostly👹) They're definitely already better than most of them and I feel like they can meet and/or surpass some of those legendary artists they have been compared to. I've lost track of the number of different artists/bands that I've seen people mention. It's easily over 20 at this point! Yes, there are clearly a ton of different influences in there. People are going to have to start accepting that they've created their own sound! PTE is one of the best debut records of all time and, really, the "debut" part of that sentence could probably be taken out. For me, it's easily one of my personal GOATs.
      History has shown us that unfortunately, the lifespan of most bands is not very long. At least with the original (and almost always superior) lineup. Obviously, I'm hoping this band stays together for quite a long time! One of the reasons I've been to 4 of their shows so far is because I'm terrified of this happening with them. I've tried getting to more, but, like most people, I don't exactly have a big bank account. I bought a lottery ticket last night hoping to win just so I could fly to Australia and catch each of those shows. Surprisingly, I did not win so it looks like I won't be going👹

    Interesting how much better her performance is visually when wearing a period dress - first time I've seen her performing in contemporary clothing. It doesn't work as well.

    • @sah-win
      @sah-win  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Are you referring to Abi? I can see how a long, flowing dress can be more stimulating for some as it can create the illusion of more movement. Look at Steven Tyler’s mic stand. Although, Steven did that for different “stimulating” reasons.👹
