Love this group. The UK is the best for musical talent. And that's coming from an American. Currently loving The Last Dinner Party and other styles of British music from acts like Idles, The Mysterines, The Murder Capital, Sleaford Mods, Ren, Bob Vylan, AllFlaws
Fantastic group. Incredibly talented and exciting. Awesome live of course. They should headline on merit alone, which is richly deserved. Not because they're women, not because of a redress against a perceived misogyny agenda. You should headline as an act if you're good enough and have a following that will turn up to watch, shouldn't be about what is or isn't between your legs. I love this band. Can't wait to see how they further grow and develop. World domination most likely.
Time is 1am feb 7th this group is so fantastic they are a unique team of females its great to see a girl indi rock band . I think they will go far so refreshing and a style which is just a class act . The music and songs show real talent As soon as i heard the band i knew they would be making a hit and stand in the music industry .well done to them i can see them going far i hope they remain im the uk jaxs!
Superb band. Will be interesting to see how they develop. One of my favourite bands has been Warpaint. I’ve loved how they’ve developed so I’ll enjoy following TLDP story😊
Why cant you just see this talent does it matter where you went to school is this not rather judgemental . My kids went to well known boarding schools the pupils are not handed a band and gold star they have to work hard funny enough . Why do people assume fee paying schools hand out exam results everyone has to work hard and show disapline . One has to get on with life in a boarding school share and often bite your lip . Work hard to achieve just like kids that attend day schools
Because hard work is a very small aspect of getting big the music industry these days. To be signed to a label you already need a manager, lawyers, an already big following and highly produced music videos, you think talented working class youngsters can afford to pay a manager? An agent? A production crew for videos? Costume designers? Lawyers? …. Everyone knows now that young indie bands are coming from very wealthy backgrounds because they’re the only ones that have the financial backing from parents to make this dream a reality. Back in the day record labels signed unknown bands and paid for all of that stuff for them. Those days are gone.
Wet Leg are typical "three chords and an attitude" type rock, okay, but in my opinion underwritten and slightly repetitive. TLDP are miles better song writers.
Such an incredible band!! I've had their album on repeat all day and not sure it's possible to tire of it! Not to mention how insane they are to see live... So proud of how far they've come 🥰
Actual musicians playing actual instruments. How refreshing. With the harmonies and wardrobe choices, it’s like The Bangles and Blackmore’s Night meets Gen Z. I sincerely hope they have a successful experience.

I'm sure das Kinder will enjoy the dressy-up box, nose-piercing wonder of it all! Yes it's good that they are playing their own instruments (very prog) but for me, this is media-driven, identity politics that places their music in its new-trope shadow. As for the music critics saying they are the most exciting band in Britain just now...well, that's critics for you! I'm just waiting for the f*ckyew-hetero-muso-male-conservative, backlash. What would JBP think?
Aww! Thank you. I just watched this as it came up in my feed, and there it was. They didn’t ask, so I was surprised to see it, though they did credit me, and I’d have said yes anyway. The Beeb also ran a snippet for which they did ask permission and even agreed a nominal fee. So happy to see them flying.

Over rated. Does anyone else feel like we are supposed think they are greater than they are?
