Hi, what I do not understand is how those arcs are fixed to the ground? Are they barried in? It looks like they are just standing on some stones? How do you make sure they do not move? In many cob and straw bale construction books they talk about rubble trenches as foundations but you just build on bare soil?
Andree Brizard it’s short wood logs about 2 feet long and You stack them with the round end facing out and put cob in between, You can kind of tell at 11:47

Did you get the proper permits to build this structure? Because it can't be listed as a dwelling it meets absolutely no building codes at all.
I think you mean cord wood. Cob is something else entirely.
i think he uses cob in between wood discs. cordwood + cob = cobwood

This thing meets no building code in the US you might be able to get a building permit for this thing as a shed. But that's it.
