We are paying him 165k per year starting so his skills is highly sought after. He’s been able to mentor our other employees and most importantly wants to start a family here so I’m trying to get him a LMIA. Our company legal team said no we aren’t doing LMIAs. Had to jump through the hoops to get it approved and now legal is dealing with government and back and forth questioning everything. Meanwhile people are easily selling Fraudulent LMIA but legit ones that follow the rules seem a lot harder? Makes no sense to me how this government can be so incompetent. Broo, just a suggestion, if u r laid off from your job, and u r waiting till july 2025 for your WP to expire, and if u r also not planning to work till that period, then i will highly suggest your to go back to home counrty (if its india), and wait from there. It will save your lots and lots of money...i have done the same, u know, 7 months of waiting and u will be speding decent amount every for your surival and that too without ongoing job, its just buring the cash.....from your home country, french can also be learned and u can still be get invited under CEC, even if u outside canada...
