Is there a lot of garbage on the beach there? When I go to the beach in Holland, I often take one bag for (fossil) shells and one for plastic and other rubbish. Some cafes near the beach give out free coffee when you turn in a bag of collected rubbish.
Not that much but after storms all kind of things happens:)

This was the semi seccessfull trip this season😁, its rather together with sea debris and sea weed instead of in the sea weed:), debris just floats together, among it amber pieces

Just sedimentary deposits, before the sea there was giant pine forest, checkout my baltic amber explained video if intetested in the details:)

Nice! It's very optimistic. This season is not over yet, you can try until the end of April. :) I am going to the sea today (Poland). It's too fast, I think, waves arę still strong, but better to be too early than too late.

@@Amberscape I'm keeping my fingers crossed. ;) Yesterday and today was a good two day for me. I was writing "It's too fast", but it isn't. I did not fiind large pieces, but in total I collected 1-1,5 kg of nice amber (I haven't weighed yet). ^^

I find it hard to find /buy real amber where I am (in Canada). I asked them to do a salt water test, and some of the amber float and some doesn't. Is it true that not all real amber float?
Yea depends on the density, also the salt density should be right for amber to float - for example white amber floats in lower sand density where yellow/orange amber doesnt it the same - it requires bigger salt density to float, one of the best test is just to burn a bit of amber with for example hot needle - if you smell pine'ish smell - its resin if not its not amber, theres tones other test like electro static test, uv test and so on
