Bro, the second scenario is actually fucking genius, i cant believe no one though about this. The first scenario is a little weird and forced though. But the third scenario is hell yeah, the perfect ending, no one lose and no one wins, everyone live peacefully, butterflies and rainbows all around.
Light trusted the TV enough to kill an obviously fake L which kickstarted the whole investigation to begin with. You all are seriously overestimating Light. He isn't *that* cautious/paranoid.
L probably knows Light is Kira. He wants to win his “childlish” game and in a way shelling Kira from governments interference by making him part of the investigation team. Otherwise Light prob be found shot himself in the back of the head somewhere by agents.
The first scenario doesn't work: All light has to do is go online and Gossip, something like, say "Oh my god, I was approached by the real L and he said his name was L. Lawliet or something like that". Then the name L gave him is public information, so the Real Kira could realistically have been the one to finish the job. Also, Light wouldn't have fallen for the L is dead trick... he would be at least smart enough to see through that. In the third one, Light set up the situation beforehand so that Rem would still have to write L's name to save Misa. The second one is genius though and probably would've worked.
The thing with the gossip one is u also need a face and it feels a bit too dumb for light to post the name and face of the guy who is investigating the magic murder man
@@andrewliu8048 Light could just say that he had no idea that L would actually use his real name, so he thought it was an alias. It would be a little suspicious on Light, but the only person who really suspected him was L... so he could pretty easily convince the rest of the task force that he was alright, especially since half of them liked him and would be ready to give him the benefit of the doubt. Also, since Kira is suppose to be an urban legend at this point in the story, Light could just say that he doesn't believe in Magic and therefore Kira must be using some kind of modern scientific weapon or some kind of sleight of hand. L always had his work cut out for him because the Death Note leaves no evidence, so even if L literally has the death note in his hands (all names written down in it), he would still have his work cut out for him convincing a court that it was light that wrote the names down... Especially since Shinigami are real in that universe and are known to write peoples names down. L literally never had a chance of winning.
He could just say he wanted to study criminology in the second one. Plus there is not enough proof to prove he is Kira from a singular name on the paper. In a fair debate, L would probably win against Light but L is defending Kira who is believed to be a magic being or an urban legend at this point so L would be at a disadvantage.
Yeah, now that im thinking about it. Light has no idea he is even Kira in that moment. So if he never touches it he will remain an alright guy, I mean he is still technically psychotic either way.
@@deviantartfemcelidk if the original comment is true because I've never heard it before, but I think he would have had to have been named regardless of whether or not he knew it, whether it was by his birth parents or by the orphanage.
1st scenario: I don't think I need to say anything about this one. Moving on. 2nd scenario: Genius idea on paper, but its effectiveness would depend on how they'd lead up to it. Here the TV repair thing is too sudden, and you typically don't call up a repair squad for something that's shown no clear signs of any malfunction. I feel like Light would find it suspicious done this way; it could work but it needs to be a little more believable. 3rd scenario: Honestly, this would have the smartest thing for L to do at the time instead of just letting someone else pick up an extremely dangerous death artifact. Sadly, L would still bite the bullet because of the setup with Rem - although in that situation, Light would have no idea why. He'd probably carry on the Kira case for a while, only to finally drop it once he realized no one else was dying. Funny to think Kira could have ended that way, and Light could have actually gone on to be a decent human being XD (Well, assuming Ryuk doesn't decide to make good on what he said near the very beginning.)
What really should have happened: L: Hey, Light. Just arrested Misa as the second Kira. Light: What?! L: Oh, and we're arresting you too. See as you're her boyfriend and we have reasonable suspicision that you could be an accomplice, assuming you're not actually Kira. Light: This can't be happening! (Light and Misa jailed, people stop dieing, no convoluted plan to get them out, Light and Misa executed.)
Light literally has rem remove misa's death note so her memories get erased. All light would have to do is tell ryuk or rem to give the death notes to someone else in a coded way so L doesn't figure out what's going on.
@@officialdeadendgames Light only pulled that off because he told Ryuk and Rem what to do BEFORE he was arrested. There is no way he could communicate such a complex plan without alerting L.
@@jonathanadams5903 ryuk is a dick and would pretend to not understand. Rem would easily understand his intentions and go through with it. If you disagree, cool, I don't care to continue arguing about fictional characters.
i rlly don't get how most comments debunk 1 and 3 yet majority somehow calls the one that literally got debunked in the anime due to light bringing his own personal mini tv the most genius.
The trick was already used once. Honestly the real "genius" part were spies doing something spies do. Act like they belong there. In general spies themselves were unfortunately kind of downgraded. A broken pipe, and a few repairmen would be natural. So no obvious, "People snuck into my house." Then there's the lack of codenames or fake name which would've saved 90% of the spies. Also would've save that one woman in the beginning. Not to mention the criminal assets L brought in.
it's simple. i'll help you understand. 1. doesn't work because it's simply absurdly obvious that it's a test. it's forcing light to accept L died of natural causes AND that he has to tell them he died of natural causes in order to throw away suspicion, when the obvious safe reaction is to just say "omg the real kira must have gotten him! but that's definetely not me!". assuming that it's of natural causes just outs yourself, and there's no way light wouldn't see right through that right off the bat if i could myself. 2. light only got a mini tv because he found out there were cameras. in this scenario, there were no cameras. thus, light never needed a mini tv to enact a potato chip plan. 3. light wrote down a fake rule for this very reason. it's a literal canonical plot point that exists in the show for the very reason of not allowing L to burn or destroy it.
@@AshtonScriptsand your telling me the guy who was suspicious of his door being opened 5cm above wouldn’t be suspicious of his head chief who works with L suddenly repairing tvs in the house that aren’t broken?
Unfortunaterly, the third scenario doesn’t work since one of the two rules Light added was : “If the notebook is destroyed, everyone who has touched it will die.” No happy ending possible !
To be fair though, nobody but Higuchi had read the notebook, and the new rules yet, so that wouldn't matter. They only examined the notebook fully back in headquarters.
L coulda thought like “ill sacrifice myself” but tbh i domt think he’d do that realistically, im jus saying thats one of thousands of technically possible different outcomes
I mean, there was a time, after finding death note, where magic gave endless possibilities. There even was suspiction that notebook is responsible for Kira egsistence, I even thougth that it would end with white peace clearing Ligth from crime.
L wanted to win but also wanted a friend it almost felt like he was trying to enjoy his friendship with light even though he knew it was a death battle and he d probably die sooner than later, poor L
1st Scenarios: We all know why that wouldn't work. 2nd Scenario: Light knew there were cameras in his house with out even being flipping in his house, so he would definitely suspect that his dad suddenly repairing the TV is def sus 3rd Scenario: Light wrote in the notebook as a fake rule that after destroying the notebook, whoever touched it will die and L is not stupid enough to just burn the evidence on the spot without understanding the notebook. And about the touching part pretty sure Rem would eventually make Light touch the notebook as she wants Misa to be saved
2nd scenario could work if L pulled strings to specifically alter Light's broadcast. Or put in some lure in the internet. There's no 'repairing' needed. He already did this in the beginning of the series by altering regional broadcast to bait him into 'killing him'.
@@kimmson6356 Depends, L could take initiative without informing the policeteam. Especially during the parts where he suspects of there being a traitor amongst their mids.
The third scenario didn't happen because the plot caused L to lose 100 IQ points. Like, they talked about Light having been Kira but having forgot about it. They talked about the power being passed between people and the memory going with. He has every reason to suspect touching the death note would bring back those lost memories. There was literally no reason to risk it.
The soichiro yagami drama caused L to believe it wasn't Light, kinda. Also, there was another fake rule which said that burning the notebook will cause everyone who touched it to die.
But if the third one had happened then L would never have been able to definitively prove that Light was Kira. Ultimately that's what drove him the entire time. If he had a chance to shut down the case but not find out who Kira was... I don't see him taking it. That's more of a Near thing to do.
@@ahnaflfc369 I get that L wasn't confident Light had been Kira, but he's not one to throw out a reasonable possibility, especially when Light admitted that Kira behaved exactly like he would have if he'd gone off the deep end. And didn't they already figure out that the bit about having to kill at least once a week was a fake rule? At that point, it's pretty obvious it's another fake rule. Or maybe that was later, I don't remember. Even if they didn't want to burn the book, the US government has plenty of extremely secure places to put stuff like that, so that's not really a determining factor.
I already thought about the second idea but it's not feasible, since Light was also getting his names from the police department's files directly due to his links with his dad. They should've tried to find a way to limit each suspect's access to the files, in such a way that they only see specific criminals without them knowing anything is missing. Then depending on which criminals die, that's your kira. All they needed was a tech guy
If someome approached me and said he is a mass murderer then saying his name is a letter which the greatest detective nickname i would say "are you on drugs"?
Nah, none of these would have worked on Light. Light was hyper paranoid and created a self-immolating device for the Death Note in a trapdoor in his desk drawer. He definitely would have found the replacement of his TV suspicious.
I agree with the 3rd scenario: L dropped the ball by letting Light touch the notebook and not becoming 100% more suspicious of him immediately. he had already concluded that kira's power can move from person to person and does so according to the will of the current owner, and that Light wouldve constructed a scenario in which the power would return to him - which is EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! and yet L somehow didnt catch on to it right away. of course he couldnt possibly know or even suspect anything about Rem loving Misa and that she would die if she prolonged Misa's life, so that part is fine, but still, L shouldve been much more cautious with the notebook and its proximity to Light.
1:55 You used an AI for L's voice didn't you? This is so unnatural that it only makes sense it would be AI, so why did you not do the same for Light's voice?
1st scenario is absolutely genius, 2nd scenario would NEVER work, if Light has the slightest suspicion about anything he will be super careful, let alone if his dad literally formally states that people will come into his room... remember that time cameras got installed in his house? nobody told him and he was still careful af
First scenario wont also work at all because light aint gonna reveal everything if u threaten him to death, remember his father forced him to kill him but he didn't reveal the notebook
@@gauranshrathoreyou’re right but at time he relinquished ownership of the death note and had no memory of it, i would say a better example is when he got caught and denied denied denied till it all fully caught up with him, or how he thought about killing his sister and father to seem less suspicious
The second scenario could work for the same reason of ego that made Light kill Lind L Tailor. Plus it was Ryuk that truly saved light from the cameras ploy by noticing the cameras. Ryuk wouldn't know to notice pre recorded clips. But then idk why he'd need 'TV repairmen' to come in and do this specifically. L has the influence and discretion of broadcasting media all over the world. 2 'Lind L Tailor' plays back to back, and the series would be over in less than 10 eps lool
@@XavielArtthe way its phrased, Light is confronted in the heat of the moment. Just like when his dad had him in the car. In which case Light wouldn't really have time to confirm anything. But then I believe what happens next is, Light would or could the same thing as in the show when he was being cornered. That is to relinquish the notebook by faking hysteria or anger and throwing it naturally to the ground. And either Ryuk understands the gesture or Light discussed this with him as a contingency earlier, if he ever got caught. Seems to me like he shouldve made that sorta plan much earlier in the series instead of when it came to a climactic point with L.
2nd and 3rd scenarios are so good, hearing about the 2nd one for the first time ever and the 3rd one, well, there would not be a show if it was like that. Btw L confirmed with Misa that she met Light on the day when 1st and 2nd Kira have met. And I think they deducted with Light that he could have been Kira before and the power passes between people. Knowing that, handing Light the notebook was incredibly stupid
light yagami dad enter light's room Dad: wow cool book, my son could lost it if he doesnt name his book, *writes light's name at front page* there we go, now he cant lost his book
Alternative title: if Light was stupid 1 is pure stupidity that light would never fall for And the 3rd was a forced position and burning the notebook would mean he got away with it and he’d just use the other book I personally wouldn’t have fallen for any of them Because why would you fix a working tv 💀 but still it stops him from killing so it still confirms one of his suspects is Kira and light acting suspicious is proof Also I would have checked to see if the tv was broken if I wasn’t 100% sure but it would work if someone breaks the tv before hand but even that is sus So I doubt someone 50 IQ higher would fall for it
The tv one is genius when modified a bit. Instead of the tvs they could change the house antenna with some other device that outputs video in channels and then L could put custom clips within the tv program
3:46 L won't destroy the book because if he opens it, he will look at the rules, including the fake ones. The 13 day rule was already enough of a problem, but there was also the other fake rule, which said that "if the death note gets destroyed, anyone who has touched it will die". L has no way of confirming how true those rules really are, not until Sidoh comes in and spoils them. So, Light does not touch the book, but it's still not destroyed.
this was one year ago, but i GOTTA say that the third, even if it would be good, before burning it they would read it most likely, so light regaining his memories wouldnt have done anything, they are probably gonna see the rule anyways, so they wouldnt burn it.
@@emanuelstornello8009 the rule said anyone who touched the death note would die if it's destroyed. There's no way to test that since they all already touched it.
All of these have a good reason to NOT work that is explained in the anime or magna. 1) Light wouldn't have fallen for the L is dead thing, and would have created an ideal situation to kill L, just like he did in the original story 2) Soichiro Yagami putting the fake tape in Light's TV wouldn't have worked since, just like in the original story, Light had a "defense" system to know if someone entered his room. 3) Light planned that scenario too, putting the fake rule that if the note is burnt everyone hat touched it dies. Plus: he planned that Rem had to kill L because of Misa. Sorry that i had to be the 🤓☝🏻 but I couldn't accept that everyone is saying in the comments that these were genius and would have worked 👀 The author of the story was too smart to not think about these
Why would Rem kill L if Misa wasn't treated until after Light recovered all his menories? If L didn't let Light touch the note, there's 0 reason for Rem to give Light his memories back, Misa's name would've been clean since they found the real Kira (or the person they thought Kira was)
In the video, Soichiro tells Light to his face that a repairman is coming into his room; it's not a secret. The only secret part is that the repairman is actually tweaking the TV. If Light refused to have the TV "repaired," it would be too suspicious and would expose him as Kira, and while he may not have trusted the TV after the repair, he wouldn't be able to kill criminals in far off countries without watching the TV. If he opted not to kill that night, the correlation with the "repair" and Kira going quiet would also put suspicion on him.
For the first one, how even if they put a gun to his face. Light is not willing to die. And for the secnod one, his dad tells him the people are repairing his tv, so he would know people are coming in
@@Kinetochore-ti5hk Well, to be fair, if he doesn't trust the TV and there are no cameras in the room like L says (I assume Light would still have Ryuk check if he's already suspicious, which he probably would be since there's nothing actually wrong with the TV), then in canon he literally had the money and idea to buy a brand new mini LCD TV, so wouldn't he just whip that plan out here instead?
Love the video, huge fan. Just a few notes. Scenario 1. As a side note, L could probably accomplish this without sharing his identity. However, the play has a low chance of success. Light would never have a reason to volunteer information on anything, much less the death note or the fact that he is guilty in any way. The police department would have no reason to trust L's word without real evidence. It's just not a good play to bet all your cards on. Scenario 2. Ngl, it's great. The others are fun too. Practically speaking though, it wouldn't work. How would they feed in a prerecorded clip into a television that takes in a live broadcast? How could they be sure that he wouldn't just change the channel? This relies on the idea that he always watches the news and wouldn't attempt to change the channel. It may seem like a small issue but it would be difficult to get around this without Light being aware of it (for instance, needing to alter the TV or somehow feed in a remote signal to it). For argument's sake, let's say that the TV has built-in VCR. How does the tape run right when the TV is turned on? How is it in the right place at the right time? L's choice of simply watching Light was probably the best one given the circumstances. Narratively speaking, there's a lot you'd have to explain here. Scenario 3. Oh yes, the move that basically lost L the game. I think this was more of a human failing than anything. He was shocked at seeing a Shinigami, and in his mind Light had cleared himself of all suspicion (at least from a reactionary standpoint). If he was in top shape mentally, then maybe he probably wouldn't have allowed Light to touch the notebook since he was once a suspect, but I think he went through an entire period of doubting himself and removing that from his mind. He wouldn't burn the notebook though, that would also cause unforeseen consequences. Ideally if he was smarter in that moment he would have packaged it and prevented anyone from coming in contact with it, but preventing members of his own team from even coming in contact with it would also not work long term. I love the fact that light agrees with L at the end btw. It'd be hilarious because Light would totally see the reasoning behind that, and would want to prevent Kira from returning even if it was himself.
1. This scenario wouldn't work as Light would instantly realize that L staged his death in order to see Light's reaction. Additionally, iirc, at this point L doesn't know whether Kira can kill their victims in any other way than by heart attack, which means that Light could still kill L by staging an accident. 2. Light could tell if someone had entered his room - meaning that he wouldn't take out his notebook or kill any criminals. Sure, it would look hella suspect if Kira's murders stopped right as Light's TV was tampered with, but as long as there's no evidence, Light is fine. 3. This was L's original plan, but since he was mesmerized after seeing Rem, he zoned out which allowed Light to touch the notebook. Just because in this scenario he is smart, we don't have to take away his humanity. It is only natural to fall deep in thoughts upon seeing something as unnatural as a Shinigami.
Um, in the second scenario, Light already knows the TV repairmen enter his room. He's told about it beforehand. Light might still suspect something and not use the notebook, but in that case he'd have to start using the Death Note somewhere else maybe (?).
@@ahnaflfc369No? The only person to find out about that was Naomi Misora at the time. It wasn’t until L got the DN that they found out about the rules. Though it wouldn’t matter, Light wants people to know that it was Kira who got L, he’d never do anything that would make it seem like an accident because he has an ego and wants the world to know that he beat L.
Just like the other comments, the 1st scenario doesn't make sense to me. But the 2nd scenario was really smart. I think it would be even better if they inserted the clip into the TV without him knowing, like how they put spy cameras in his room. But this time, since inserting the clip into a TV can possibly be done without physical evidence (it could be done with a software modification on the TV), Ryuk or Light wouldn't be able to detect any changes and it would have worked for sure. On another note, the 3rd scenario is also really fun to think about. Imagine if L and Light end up becoming friends and start working together as detectives to solve other cases because he never reverts to being evil.
Possible 4th scenario L observes misas hair flying so there must be a shinigami and asks rem about the plan when he met rem and eliminates kira (light ) by using death note
i have watched death note again in detailed if you notice there are some flaws in L's writing, there are some points where L was careless such as in when he met misa for the first time why would light keep different cell phone? after getting death note why didn't L tried not to know much about death note rules and match it light yagami how he lost his memory in and sharing of death note he was aware that power can be shared and memory loss can happen, if there was real L he would never have ignored those things and he could beat light in his own game
The video's title is a reference to the fact that you are the smartest man alive? Your possible answers: First scenario: yes. Second scenario: no. Third scenario: maybe. Fourth scenario: Fifth scenario: something random. Sixth scenario: something unexpected.
L knew light is Kira from the start, but he had 2 problem: 1) proof - because being the only perfect match to a profile isnt proof. 2) murder weapon - it can be argued that finding the weapon is more important than finding Kira. Because even if Kira is in prison someone else can use it
If I were Light I would just keep denying it. I haven't watched the anime but depending on how much Light has known I'll make some scenarios. First Scenario: 1. Deny and ask for proof that L died from a heart attack. If L doesn't show up, I'm the smartest in the room (If I'm Light's IQ), I can prove he didn't die by heart attack and within a few seconds of thinking I can already deduct this is an act. 2. Look into proof that he didn't have heart diseases. I could get information that L eats a lot of sweets which might give higher chances for heart diseases and if someone were to jumpscare or unknowingly approach him from behind, he would die of heart attack. 3. I would also know that heart attack victims can be revived if treated quickly by mouth to mouth. I would say that there hasn't been much time since L has died and maybe we can save him. Second Scenario: 1. They have a lack of proof I am Kira. I can easily say I'm interested in studying criminology and I have an interest in becoming a police officer. Hence I wrote their name down to study their behavior later. They can't just determine I'm Kira from a name on a paper. 2. I would just deny it. They don't have enough evidence. I'll argue it with L later on. Third Scenario: Both L and Light and anyone who has touched the Death Note dies.
You're correct in 1st Scenario, Well in second scenario, isn't that enough that the particular criminal which name and face was showed on only the TV of Light is dead.... Since L knows Kira need a face and name to kill. Light was already a suspect. In third scenario: there is no rule that those who touch death note will die. But there was a fake rule made by light and rem that you can't burn the notebook if you do it you'll die and the user can only live 14 days without writing names But in this video L didn't even open the notebook to read those rules And burnt the notebook .
@@animeboi99. Your argument in the second scenario doesn't really do anything. Again, Light can just say he doesn't know that it was a trick and that any person interested in studying criminology would do the same. It's not enough because it doesn't prove in any way that Light is Kira. It's not as if Light deliberately searched for the picture of the criminal. It would indeed raise suspicion but since Light has it under control, it should be good for him. For the third scenario, yeah I didn't watch or read the anime. But L wouldn't burn it if he read the rules of it. But to be honest, L was too caught up on thinking off what Light was doing. But I've heard that Rem would still write the name to save Misa.
The second scenario is a clasic way of finding spies, give everyone a different time / location that "the plan" will start then the time / location the enemies appear allows you to find the spy.
For those who are saying light would have not used the modified tv Well the tv could have been modified without informing him when he wasn't home and no camera would be needed as individual criminals were appointed to every suspect And for the trap light kept from notifying of somebody had entered his room Lights mom could be just told to say that she went to find a ornament which was missing from the house as a strict order by police to manipulate light It solves all the deadass fight between all of you I wish i get to become q detective as L i literally hade 100 theoris better than these to catch light Keeping in mind the fact that we dont know wbout ryuk nor the death note
@animeboi99. Light never lost It was rather an alternative ending referring to the fact that all have to die at a time Cuz spk can't break into a building then a bank then a vault then copy each and every word precisely enough to not be caught while observing with a microscope by mikami Genova was from English so writing so many words in japanese with precise handwriting in just one night while not even leaving a trace of breaking in Just don't make sense It's mathematically impossible to do that The fastest writer writes at only At 132w/minute in a day there is only 34560 minutes so mathematically it would take 4561920 words which is not huge but From 26-29 November to 26-29 Jan mikami used to write a page daily which sums upto 62 days and 62 pages He used to write 6 rows with 22 columns making it 132 exactly All this is already impossible It could be only done if multiple highly talented japanese writer were hired to write mikami words in same exact handwriting without a single microscopic flaw Then break into a vault with no traces and exactly placing everything at its place The calculations are made for but the calculations I made are for 24 hrs in a single night at least means 12am to 6am which means 1/4 of the time so dividing all the calculations by 4 (I didn't did it cuz we will already know the amount to be done would be so huge it's practically impossible" So the theory is light never lost and all this was an alternative ending light though when near told about the fake notebook But rather lights plan worked and mikami used the real death note killing all
At this point (3rd scenerio) in the anime, L already figured there must have been at least 2 notebooks. I believe he knows that burning 1 won't do much, but instead decides to learn from it.
In the beginning of the show when he tricked Light into killing the fake L on TV in order to confirm Kira was in a specific region of Japan, it was genius but couldnt do it more than once. I wonder if he couldve done a different method to confirm if Kira was in that region Japan THEN have Light watch a baited broadcast
Scenario 2 would be even better if they came up with a reason other than the TVs to enter his room. It's too much of a tipoff to say they're going in for the TVs.
1:57 they already did this on his father he kidnapped light and misa and thretend them of shooting and killing himself but if he would die in acting of this it would confirm light was kira but he didnt
First scenario wouldn’t work. Since light knew he didn’t kill L he would NEVER confess any of the details until there was hard evidence pointing towards him. For the second scenario, as smart as it was, it wouldn’t work either. Remember Light was able to tell his room was wire tapped just from his door alone. He would be suspicious about people randomly coming to check up on his TV. So he would suspect the room is wiretapped again and kill criminals the potato chips way. The third scenario is actually plausible.
Realistically, Light would right L’s name in the notebook anyways and dictate he has no more suspicions, and continue on for several months before he will kill himself out of frustration.
Regarding the pre-recorded TV, How did Light trust the TV transmission so much in the first place? I mean couldn't the provider have worked with the police and broadcasted different stuff to different neighbourhoods or even households, thus narrowing down who/where Kira might be? I honestly don't know if a TV provider can do that, but Light is a smart guy.
The second prediction dosn’t make sense as light would just be able to use his brain and figure out the why the TV was taken now if they asked the tv station to play certain news reports about criminals when Light was watching it it would make more sense. PS: did you forget about the fake rule that light added for your 3rd prediction of how it would play out as if he burned the note book he would and everyone who touched the notebook will die.

Light could just write that "L Lawliet dies by Soichiro Yagami accidentally running over him." That makes all suspicion from his father disappear.
That happy ending is what i really wanted
Me too 🥲
Light literally wrote a fake rule for that
Sus
Yeah, now that im thinking about it. Light has no idea he is even Kira in that moment. So if he never touches it he will remain an alright guy, I mean he is still technically psychotic either way.
One day lights watch breaks and he accidentally touches the piece of death note inside when he's like 70
A genius writing indeed😅.
Keep it up brother 👍🏻
Thanks❤
Fun fact, L himself didn't know his real name. He just takes names from detectives he reheated as his own.
If that’s the case shouldn’t Rem of not been able to see a name since he wouldn’t have no name?
@MotherFucker445 he'd still have a true name, even if he doesn't know it

''if I dies''
So I is another detective or something?
ESL
It's actually a lowercase L instead of an uppercase i :)
The 3rd Ending is Such wholesome and Good ending idk why 💀
What really should have happened:
L: Hey, Light.
Rem exists
@@ahnaflfc369 I don't think there is anything she could really have done in that senario.
So no obvious, "People snuck into my house."
Then there's the lack of codenames or fake name which would've saved 90% of the spies.
How would lights mini tv change that scenario?
No. Light only brung a mini tv because of the wiretaps and cameras.
@@TheTwilightKnight_YTthe fake rule was added long before higuchi
They don't read The rules yet@@ahnaflfc369
L coulda thought like “ill sacrifice myself” but tbh i domt think he’d do that realistically, im jus saying thats one of thousands of technically possible different outcomes
That wasn't an actual rule though.
The third is the most satisfying to watch, but it'd never happen : L want to win.
That's not a win, that's a white peace.
Sadly
I mean, there was a time, after finding death note, where magic gave endless possibilities. There even was suspiction that notebook is responsible for Kira egsistence, I even thougth that it would end with white peace clearing Ligth from crime.
if Kira wasn't found with proof,L would take it as a loss even if the Kira killings stop
L wanted to win but also wanted a friend it almost felt like he was trying to enjoy his friendship with light even though he knew it was a death battle and he d probably die sooner than later, poor L
I mean at that point is better to just burn the notebook than trying to explain magic, look crazy and the possibility of other people using it
1st Scenarios: We all know why that wouldn't work.
2nd Scenario: Light knew there were cameras in his house with out even being flipping in his house, so he would definitely suspect that his dad suddenly repairing the TV is def sus
3rd Scenario: Light wrote in the notebook as a fake rule that after destroying the notebook, whoever touched it will die and L is not stupid enough to just burn the evidence on the spot without understanding the notebook. And about the touching part pretty sure Rem would eventually make Light touch the notebook as she wants Misa to be saved
agreed
2nd scenario could work if L pulled strings to specifically alter Light's broadcast. Or put in some lure in the internet. There's no 'repairing' needed. He already did this in the beginning of the series by altering regional broadcast to bait him into 'killing him'.
@@tompaauwe4565 the broadcasting method could work but that intel could be leaked cause light has access to his dad's laptop
@@kimmson6356 Depends, L could take initiative without informing the policeteam. Especially during the parts where he suspects of there being a traitor amongst their mids.

My bad
Conforms makes sense in Spanish
The third scenario didn't happen because the plot caused L to lose 100 IQ points.
Like, they talked about Light having been Kira but having forgot about it. They talked about the power being passed between people and the memory going with.
He has every reason to suspect touching the death note would bring back those lost memories. There was literally no reason to risk it.
except Light grabbed the notebook before L even had a chance to stop him
@@TarnishedProductions
L should have been proactive.
@@ahnaflfc369
I get that L wasn't confident Light had been Kira, but he's not one to throw out a reasonable possibility, especially when Light admitted that Kira behaved exactly like he would have if he'd gone off the deep end.

Light: **Rights both his dad and L’s name in the death note**
Nah, none of these would have worked on Light. Light was hyper paranoid and created a self-immolating device for the Death Note in a trapdoor in his desk drawer. He definitely would have found the replacement of his TV suspicious.
1:11 no matter what they say, I believe that Light will figure out it's an act
Idk I don't remember...
@@animeboi99. fair enough! Kinda weird hearing L but not Light tbh but otherwise solid video!
1st scenario wouldnt work; Light would have to confirm L to be 100% dead, and he has several ways of doing it too (Ryuk checking for instance)

So I doubt someone 50 IQ higher would fall for it
The tv one is genius when modified a bit. Instead of the tvs they could change the house antenna with some other device that outputs video in channels and then L could put custom clips within the tv program
I had thought of the 2nd scenario before, but instead of using the TV, I would've added files to Kira's father computer
Also, "this case ends here" is unaccurate, since there were two or more notebooks. And L knew it as soon as he discovered the first one.

@@MissiFull yup
All of these have a good reason to NOT work that is explained in the anime or magna.
1) Light wouldn't have fallen for the L is dead thing, and would have created an ideal situation to kill L, just like he did in the original story
2) Soichiro Yagami putting the fake tape in Light's TV wouldn't have worked since, just like in the original story, Light had a "defense" system to know if someone entered his room.
@@sophiaelise1517yes. Majority of people here haven’t watched the show and are heavily misunderstanding lights and Ls character
Yeah......
Thanks tho
The first and third scenario made me say, "Well...fuck. So much for the smartest story I've ever seen."
3rd story is stupid. 2nd is best
If those scenario happened, there won't be kira's evil laugh ,no evil laugh, no watching masterpiece
3rd scenario makes too much sense 😂
😅
I mean that's kinda how he outsmarted light in the movie
Right
Nah by the uni episode they very well knew light could manipulate the deaths
Also light added a fake rule which said destroying the notebook would cause everyone who touched it to die

I'm pretty sure he was too busy choking he barely managed to say Light's name as it was 😭😭😭
i have watched death note again in detailed if you notice there are some flaws in L's writing, there are some points where L was careless such as in when he met misa for the first time why would light keep different cell phone? after getting death note why didn't L tried not to know much about death note rules and match it light yagami how he lost his memory in and sharing of death note he was aware that power can be shared and memory loss can happen, if there was real L he would never have ignored those things and he could beat light in his own game

The video's title is a reference to the fact that you are the smartest man alive?
Your possible answers:
First scenario: yes.
Second scenario: no.
Third scenario: maybe.
Fourth scenario:
Fifth scenario: something random.
Sixth scenario: something unexpected.
3rd scenario is dumb. Light added a fake rule for that. Maybe time to rewatch the anime?
But at this point they haven't seen it yet.
"conforms you're kira"
"reaping people"
wot
So to make L the smarter person you gotta make Light Dumb🤣😭
😂
L is the smarter person.
L is definitely smarter
L knew light is Kira from the start, but he had 2 problem:
1) proof - because being the only perfect match to a profile isnt proof.
2) murder weapon - it can be argued that finding the weapon is more important than finding Kira. Because even if Kira is in prison someone else can use it
fun fact: Lawliet is actually pronounce as "Law Light" , i think this was mentioned in the official DN guidebook
In the third scenario, I could imagine how Light would be screaming internally when L burned that book.
He wouldn't since he had no memories of that.
I think you cannot deetroy the book...it will respawn
If I were Light I would just keep denying it. I haven't watched the anime but depending on how much Light has known I'll make some scenarios.
First Scenario:
Second Scenario:
Third Scenario:
Both L and Light and anyone who has touched the Death Note dies.
but you realise the burn rule is fake
You're correct in 1st Scenario,
Well in second scenario, isn't that enough that the particular criminal which name and face was showed on only the TV of Light is dead.... Since L knows Kira need a face and name to kill. Light was already a suspect.
In third scenario: there is no rule that those who touch death note will die. But there was a fake rule made by light and rem that you can't burn the notebook if you do it you'll die and the user can only live 14 days without writing names
But in this video L didn't even open the notebook to read those rules
And burnt the notebook .
Yeah you're right.
Being held at gun point is hard to avoid.
Light's plan relying on him being allowed to touch the notebook was odd to me.
The second scenario is a clasic way of finding spies, give everyone a different time / location that "the plan" will start then the time / location the enemies appear allows you to find the spy.
can anyone tell me what the music used in the outro is
In the second scenario, light would suspect because of the pencil that has on his door
For those who are saying light would have not used the modified tv
Well the tv could have been modified without informing him when he wasn't home and no camera would be needed as individual criminals were appointed to every suspect
And for the trap light kept from notifying of somebody had entered his room
Lights mom could be just told to say that she went to find a ornament which was missing from the house as a strict order by police to manipulate light
It solves all the deadass fight between all of you
I wish i get to become q detective as L i literally hade 100 theoris better than these to catch light
Keeping in mind the fact that we dont know wbout ryuk nor the death note
You should send me your theories 🙄
@animeboi99.
Light never lost
It was rather an alternative ending referring to the fact that all have to die at a time
Cuz spk can't break into a building then a bank then a vault then copy each and every word precisely enough to not be caught while observing with a microscope by mikami
Genova was from English so writing so many words in japanese with precise handwriting in just one night while not even leaving a trace of breaking in
Just don't make sense
It's mathematically impossible to do that
The fastest writer writes at only
At 132w/minute in a day there is only 34560 minutes so mathematically it would take 4561920 words which is not huge but
From 26-29 November to 26-29 Jan mikami used to write a page daily which sums upto 62 days and 62 pages
He used to write 6 rows with 22 columns making it 132 exactly
All this is already impossible
It could be only done if multiple highly talented japanese writer were hired to write mikami words in same exact handwriting without a single microscopic flaw
Then break into a vault with no traces and exactly placing everything at its place
The calculations are made for but the calculations I made are for 24 hrs in a single night at least means 12am to 6am which means 1/4 of the time so dividing all the calculations by 4
(I didn't did it cuz we will already know the amount to be done would be so huge it's practically impossible"
So the theory is light never lost and all this was an alternative ending light though when near told about the fake notebook
But rather lights plan worked and mikami used the real death note killing all
I see the first one with L actually killing himself. Like seriously that'd be a crazy gamble for a greater good. Fun video dude
Thanks
Underrated channel

At this point (3rd scenerio) in the anime, L already figured there must have been at least 2 notebooks.
I believe he knows that burning 1 won't do much, but instead decides to learn from it.
In the beginning of the show when he tricked Light into killing the fake L on TV in order to confirm Kira was in a specific region of Japan, it was genius but couldnt do it more than once. I wonder if he couldve done a different method to confirm if Kira was in that region Japan THEN have Light watch a baited broadcast
"If I die then it's him"
The best line to use in Among Us to really take someone out
Hehe
Scenario 2 would be even better if they came up with a reason other than the TVs to enter his room. It's too much of a tipoff to say they're going in for the TVs.
1:57 they already did this on his father he kidnapped light and misa and thretend them of shooting and killing himself but if he would die in acting of this it would confirm light was kira but he didnt
The grammar is sending me rdgsdfg
First scenario wouldn’t work. Since light knew he didn’t kill L he would NEVER confess any of the details until there was hard evidence pointing towards him.
For the second scenario, as smart as it was, it wouldn’t work either. Remember Light was able to tell his room was wire tapped just from his door alone. He would be suspicious about people randomly coming to check up on his TV. So he would suspect the room is wiretapped again and kill criminals the potato chips way.
The third scenario is actually plausible.
"It mean Light Yagami, you're the Kira" pure poetry
L hawe in a plan yo do this but they don't. They actualy decided to he want's have funn and gave chance to light 😌
Realistically, Light would right L’s name in the notebook anyways and dictate he has no more suspicions, and continue on for several months before he will kill himself out of frustration.
Regarding the pre-recorded TV,
How did Light trust the TV transmission so much in the first place? I mean couldn't the provider have worked with the police and broadcasted different stuff to different neighbourhoods or even households, thus narrowing down who/where Kira might be? I honestly don't know if a TV provider can do that, but Light is a smart guy.
People be making Light a 5 year old in these videos.
😂
The second prediction dosn’t make sense as light would just be able to use his brain and figure out the why the TV was taken now if they asked the tv station to play certain news reports about criminals when Light was watching it it would make more sense. PS: did you forget about the fake rule that light added for your 3rd prediction of how it would play out as if he burned the note book he would and everyone who touched the notebook will die.
el tercer escenario es el final perfecto, con kira siendo bueno y el fin de la death note, un final feliz en el que l y light fueron amigos
That second scenario is smart.
