Tim Russell been a long time since yamaha did well, 250's are ok but barcia is only doing well because there are a lot of riders missing in the 450 class and he is struggling with the piece of shit bike.. jeremy martin is very talented so it's not the bike. cooper webb is 10th in point standings so not a good example...

I agree, the Yamaha's sucked for a long while. The 2010-13 450 sucked and the 250 was terrible up to 2014. The new models are different; they are fantastic bikes, and to say otherwise is pretty ignorant. You say it's been a long time since Yamaha has done well; you're completely right, and it's only that they finally have decent bikes out there that they're now doing well.
Cooper Webb is 10th in points because he was out for the half the season! He's challenged for the win in more or less every race since he's been back. Jeremy Martin was good but not great until the new 250 came out. Barcia has finally got his groove back and is riding the wheels off that bike. He's challenging Dungey for wins: he can challenge anyone for wins. (except maybe Tomac but that's moot because there's no point going as fast as Tomac if it all it ends in is lawn darting yourself into the ground.)
Oh and BTW, Reed will be back on a factory Yamaha next season, so there's that. :)

The did in the last years but in 2016 they replaced the white for yellow for their 60th anniversery, they'll probably bring the white back next year!(in 2006 the special edition was also yellow because of the 50th anniversery) if you dont believe me go on the yamaha website!
