I had one in 1987. I bought it in Singapore. The screen was very hard to see. I cant even remember what ever happened to it.

You forgot about the predecessor, the T1000. I have one. Is like yours but a little tinner and only one floppy drive. I recapped the mainboard and its working. I orderer some NICADs SC batterys to replace the battery and then i will have some fun.

Great vid. Nice ambiance. I passed up a chance to pick up a T1200 a couple of months ago due to distance, wish I'd picked it up now 😀

In all honesty - you cant really do much with it - but its a cool little machine.

My step father's former employer had a Toshiba T1000SE I think, I think it was an 8086 or 8088 based computer with a floppy drive only and no hard drive, I understand it also had a RAM disk of some kind, so files were stored in RAM. It booted up very quickly from memory.

Have one of these exact t1100 plus machines! Don’t know of it works yet, but I’m waiting on a power supply for it right now, I’ll let you know if it works!
If it does I might try putting Windows 1.0 on it

Yes, I think the T-1000 predates the T-1100. I have one in excellent condition that I bought new.

The T1000 came out in 1987, the T1100 (non PLUS) was the first one, easily identified with the 2 rows of function keys.,

I owned one of these in 1986, my first computer actually. It set me back $1,400 in 1986 dollars. 😂

Did the T1100 or T1100 Plus come before the T1000?

I have the T1000 here at home :) Wasn't easy to track down the 128k RAM expansion to max it out. Mine has DOS 2.11 running from ROM with amusingly the ROM based C:. Only 1 FDD in mine. It's nice to see your one in that condition also getting some love. Is it older than your T1100Plus?

How did you track down the 128k RAM expansion?
