I come back to this video every now and then and I can get through the scenes with a smile. But gosh when Martin says ''The Canterbury Tales of Chaucer'' I just have to cry like Ricky
Thanks for uploading this. I have maybe watched it dozens over times over the last few years. I laughed harder at this than I did the show. They must have had such fun work days filming the office.
@@32446 I'm so glad that I developed a mental illness in 2015 and had to stop working. That sounds selfish, mental, but I loved working in the 1990s, early 2000s, but these days? Thank fuck I don't have to work, as workplaces generally sound way, way worse in the 2020s than the 2010s.
It's great seeing the bloopers because the show is SO painfully awkward and hard to watch sometimes, that it's nice to know that everyone was having a really good time and laughing.
My God so much nostalgia, not only because of the show but I actually remember working in a very similar environment, the music makes me remember my first days of going to work in a office, super lonely, nervous, anxious, now as an adult, I almost lost that type of feelings, but always that I watch this show, even the bloopers, bring me back those memories, the weird thing is that, I actually miss that.
Any person who worked since there late teens and is in their 50s worked with people like this, I got so many flashbacks first time watching the office it was mind blowing and Brent with the jeans and trainers was an old bosses get up when he was out of the office.. Good memories of simpler times
Baby Yoda Up In This Mofo I literally thought she meant that she imagines dragons laugh like him and then I read your comment and felt so dumb because you guys are talking about the band and now I’m sitting here thinking about fake creatures laughing. 🤣
gigglyme2001 I think she wasn’t talking about the band, or else she wouldn’t have written “I’d”. You only write “I would imagine” when you are using “imagine” as a verb, not the first word of the noun band “imagine dragons”. For example, as a hypothetical, change the band to “Rolling Stones”. Ricky laughs like I would Rolling Stones sound.
I'd say recording this was a nightmare Ricky never stops messing and laughing at the best of times never mind when he has to do such awkward serious stuff, I'd say they must have had to record everything 100 times! worth it though what a show!
The best bit is when he makes a wisecrack, and quips about the guy being one of the "lucky ones". Only to realize, seconds later, that the attempt at levity has fallen totally flat. Just seeing the smile falling off his face as he nervously looks into the camera, is absolutely brilliant.🤣... Comedy gold!!!
Over 20 years ago a coworker from Croydon loaned me this DVD. He said, “Slough is very much like Croydon.” The Office US and Parks & Rec. are very good, but this show is my favorite. Ricky was born to entertain.
Just such fond memorys of the office and such a better Earthly life time I had back then when this program aired. True xD
And they're cracking up.. Because it's nothing vicious!
Even I would crack up just at the sight of something like Ricky's face lmao

Haha Ricky and Martin....... Ricky Martin! Comedy gold.
its insane that they actually have to make the show less funny just so they avoid breaks in character
On my feet.
rxp56 very good point
yea that "you could be in the hotseat like me" was defo a better take than the actual version!
