Your Italian is amazing and I love your accent! I've been studying Italian for almost a year now but my progress is much smaller than yours. Thank you so much for making videos in Italian and leaving English subtitles, it really motivates me to not give up on my Italian as well!!
I just discovered your channel. I studied Italian with a native speaker for about 8 months and learned a lot but she was not a great teacher, was disorganized and seemed distracted during lessons. We did not converse much in Italian and I got frustrated because I could barely understand spoken Italian so I took a break. I started back on my own and now I feel more motivated and inspired when listening to you and others who share learning tips. My goal is to listen to more italian using your suggestions and learn on my own. Im enjoying your videos so much! Grazie Mille!
Hi Shea ✨ Thank you for your inspirational message in the middle of the video. I really appreciate it. I moved from Italy to Belgium two years ago and everything is still so complicated for me. Speaking a different language and adapting to a new culture are not easy, even though I was not alone. So, I truly admire your courage, and I am glad to see that you are happy now. 💜 xoxo
I’m glad you could relate! I often get a lot of messages from people who tell me their fear is stopping them, and I wish they would go for it because this experience has been so amazing and I want others to experience it as well. You understand how hard it can be but hopefully it’s rewarding for you as well. 💕 Thanks for watching!
This is wonderful ❤ wow, it’s so amazing to see how fluent you have become 🤩 This is very encouraging!!! You’re living out my dreams 😅 I’m so proud of you and how far you’ve come and for sticking it out 🥳
Fantastic job Shea! You’re such an inspiration. Your Italian has come such a long way. Definitely hope to see the same success as you in my journey. Keep posting updates!
Hi Shea, I watched one of your videos on TH-cam a couple of years ago. Then I started learning German and even though it’s not Italian, I applied some of your tips about language learning and it helped me a lot 😊 And last year I moved to Munich just like you did to Bologna. I just wanted to say thank you, I hope you’re loving Italy and I’m always looking forward to your content 🔥
@@SheaJordan Yes I love Munich ! But I am also a big fan of Italy and want to start learning Italian. I apologize if you have already mentioned this somewhere, but can I ask you why you chose Bologna ?
Hi Shea, just wanted to say thanks for your videos! I am about to apply to do my Master's in Italy and your videos help me feel a little more prepared for what is to come. I am also intensively studying Italian now in preparation to hopefully move there next year :)I have visited Bologna and really loved the vibe there.
Oh my God, your Italian is so cute and this language is really great. When I achieve a normal level in Spanish (now only about A2), I hope I start Italian too
Mio ragazzo? What's this??? Spill please 🙂 I can really hear your Italian improving, you confidently using the past continuous (avendo vissuto) and the always-fun subjunctive (delle persone pensano che tutte le cose siano perfette), so well done and lovely to see another video from you x
Thank you! Hahaha yes, I have a boyfriend here, he's from Bologna. We've been dating for a bit, he just has not made an appearance on my channel ahah 😂
Grazie tante per queste video! Il tuo livello di parlare è migliore del mio ma è al mio livello di ascolto. Mi piace ascoltarti senza bisogno di usare i sottotitoli perché parli chiaramente 👌
Hello, I'm a French student who would like to spend two months in Bologna. Do you have any local contacts who could help me find accommodation? Do you have any good ideas for students? Do you advise me to use public transport or to take my car?
Sorry, I don’t know anyone. Also for two months it may be difficult, but you could try Facebook groups to find openings or rent an Airbnb or vacation rental. A car is definitely not necessary for Bologna, you can easily walk anywhere or get to other cities by train!
It was super strange! Everything felt super familiar obviously but I felt really out of place. It was like I was visiting my old life and I was really certain that Italy is where I’m meant to be now ☺️. Also it was interesting to see certain routines Americans have that I forgot about, how everyone has SO much stuff, stores are so big, etc. It was nice to visit but I’m happier living here!
@@SheaJordan ahhh that’s how I have always felt when returning to the US! I’ve been consistently living here now since the pandemic and I was just telling my friend how I have noticed I’ve become more attached to things that I never felt when I would live anywhere else. Like I am dying to go to a language school in another country and go back to living outside the US but I’ve become attached to all the possessions I’ve acquired here. For example I finally have a proper kitchen with a blender a food processor proper measuring tools and pans…and for some reason getting rid of all that and random other furniture feels difficult which I know is just americas capitalism trying to keep me here 😭

@SheaJordan I really like the color of your hair. I enjoy watching videos of people learning different languages.

I love when you show us around Italy! What do you do for work besides TH-cam?
I'm glad! I work as a social media manager part-time for an online education brand that teaches online courses ✨

I’m sorry, I have no idea actually. I work remotely for a company in Los Angeles. I’m not sure what offers there are for students around here!
Your Italian sounds almost perfect except intonation and flow which I'm sure you can improve in no time. Congratulations!
