The Penn and Teller game is actually set up so that you're meant to either set up the tricks beforehand or there's some hidden way to input information into the game when you're demonstrating the controls to whoever you're planning to use said tricks on, and in case of Buzz Bombers, there's a number of cheat codes you can use to make the game easier for yourself and harder for the other player, another code to switch the cheat ability between controllers in case they want to switch and a video you can play for the other player once you've strung them along long enough. You can google the manual to see how they're actually meant to be played.
I'm not sure how they could afford someone with that kinda star power. I bet he wouldn't show up for less than 10 mil..The Western version of Richard Bronson doesn't come cheap.
Danika Patrick in Sonic Racing always seemed totally out of place. On the other hand, Gary Coleman in Postal 2 seemed to fit perfectly. Oh and that shitty Journey game.
Yeah that was a fun game based on a book series he supposedly helped atleast come up with the concpt for. There were some tv movies and a series where he played a police chief or something and thats who he was in the game. The graphics wre cool cause they looked so wierd I've only seen 1 may two other games with the same graphics, atleast that I remember.
Love the arcade version of moonwalker. Used to push coins into that thing all the time when it was in the arcades and I have spent hours on it on my home arcade.
Well, he's more an athlete in the sport/competition portrayed in the game (otherwise, would every player on the cover of Fifa/Madden/NHL/NBA count)? I think this series is more of a celebrity face just slapped on to something vaguely related to their line of celebrity (or sometimes not at all)
khululy p Eh, they're more arcade style games than legit sports games, definitely not accurate simulations. I mean, one of the games you can play as Spiderman in them, comlete with web-slinging skateboard tricks.
I suppose you could include the James Bond games in this category as they almost always had the actors from the films in them? You have Pierce Brosnan for Goldeneye/Tomorrow Never Dies/World is Not Enough/Everything or Nothing/Nightfire, Sean Connery for From Russia With Love, and Daniel Craig for Quantum of Solace/Blood Stone.
FYI, there's YET ANOTHER version of Moonwalker released on all the 8-bit microcomputers of the day, which is YET ANOTHER completely different game from the arcade and Genesis versions. It looks like the weakest of the bunch, though I've never actually played it myself, so I can't say for sure. Also, there are at least four more Jackie Chan games on 8-bit microcomputers, too! And while I haven't played Project A on the ZX Spectrum or MSX (which looks pretty bad), nor Police Story on the MSX (which looks decent), I own and have played both Protector and Project A2 on the MSX, and they're both excellent. Protector is a sort of puzzle platformer with single-screen stages a la Bubble Bobble. The goal is just to beat the crap out of all the enemies, and then you move on to the next stage! But in order to do so, you have to dodge their knives, bullets, and sticks of dynamite that they toss at you, while bouncing around on trampolines and swinging from hooks. In the later stages, too, there are helicopters that try to hunt you down the whole time. It's really simple, but quite fun and addictive, and while the controls take a little getting used to, it's really satisfying every time you successfully drop-kick an enemy into oblivion. Feels very arcade-y, and is a great pick-up-and-play game for when you have 10 minutes to kill and just want something that you can immediately get into and have a lot of fun with. (Screw stage 4, though; stage 4 can suck it!) Project A2, on the other hand, is much more involved. It's an MSX2 game, so it looks quite good, too! It plays as a side-scrolling platformer, but with RPG-like elements: you're investigating a kidnapping, and have to infiltrate various buildings, entering the rooms and questioning witnesses or beating up enemies. There are also "random battles," of sorts, where you'll suddenly be ambushed by a bunch of enemies and have to take them out before you can continue. Jackie is VERY nimble in this game, with a variety of punches and kicks, as well as a really handy backward somersault, and even a badass wall-jump that can transition into a drop-kick. He can be almost TOO nimble at times, though, making him a little tough to control -- but the game is still great fun, and the detailed environments plus huge enemy variety and generally excellent graphics make it quite addictive searching all the different buildings. Oh, there's also that weird "XaviX Port" console that was endorsed by Jackie Chan, which Game Dave has covered before. And that ALSO seems pretty awesome for what is, at its heart, a Wii knock-off. Really, now that I think about it, Jackie Chan has a great track record with video games. And animation, as his cartoon was pretty damned cool too! It's kind of weird, but he may be the most successful celebrity there is when it comes to multimedia tie-ins.
Nice video guys. Someone else has probably posted this, but I first played that Jackie Chan NES game on a famicom multicart where it was called something like “MARIO 11”, and the sprite had been replaced by a burly Mario.
I think there was also that Jackie Chan cartoon and they made a game of it for the GBA and I think it was OK? Unless my memory is failing me... (very possible, quick google.) yes and it was pretty decent. I only played a few times but wasn't all bad.
yeah it was OK, but nowhere near as good as Stuntmaster, i couldnt even be mad when i died, because i was smiling when an audio clip came, like "Cut! Hospital!", not many games that i can lose a life with a smile.
LMFAO Allen Iverson. I have actually spoken to him before, it was the last phone call I ever took in my old call center job with a former employer. He is every bit the sophisticated gentleman you think he is.
Pretty sure I own the PS1 version and uugghh at least it was cheap... I think I paid like 2-3 bucks for it... Not sure it was worth it... lol Edit: He nailed the review of the Pinball game... lol
Legend has it if you bounce basketballs off enemies faces while the background parralax scrolls it'll summon Dave from his Fed Ex job to say "That's right Joe." Thanks Joe for keeping the Sack going. Dave, still enjoy these old episodes
So glad you guys showed the PS1 Jackie Chan game. I loved that one, but hardly anyone else I know has played it. And I unfortunately no longer own it. I wanna scoop it up and play it again!
I always thought that was based on one of his movies or tied in to Armageddon or something. Yeah, that would be an interesting one for GS to cover (alongside Wu-Tang taste the pain of course)
As I remember correctly, the game was going to have a different character that the player was going to control. The Bruce Willis character was going to be a NPC that would guide you and aid you on in the game. It was later changed that the player would just control the Bruce Willis character Trey Kincaid. I think I remember seeing a feature on this on the old PlayStation Underground CD magazine subscription.
How could you not hit like on a Game Sack video with a special appearance from Coury and Try from MLiG ? I can only imagine how much planning it took to get you all together.
It's crazy how over a span of maybe 2 years ur uploads became my highlight of the 14 day cycle. It always brikg a smile on my face when I open up TH-cam on a Sunday morning (I'm living in Germany) and a new Game Sack video pops up in my feed
They made a game for the 16-Bit FMV episode which can actually run on a real Sega CD, it should be available to download (along with the rest of the episode) on their website. However, you can't win that game.
Going along with Jackie Chan games, Jackie Chan Fists of Fire for the Arcade. 1995 Arcade only game (There was a previous Jackie Chan game and fists of fire was more of an upgrade to that, but it improved on everything). It borrows heavily from Mortal Kombat IE digitized characters. When the game boots up Jackie says "I'm Jackie Chan, this is my game!" The game is broken as all hell, but damn it's REALLY fun game to play with friends. The history on why the game was made is really interesting too, check it out.
They controls were unique, but better systems have come along. The Matrix games were a better execution of the concept, and the Batman Arkham games continued to improve on it.
I realize this comment is way late to the party but it must be posted for Game Sack - the gods of gaming - deserve all the praise for consistently delivering hilarious, insightful, and purely entertaining video content year after year. As much as I joyfully devour your main content each episode, I never fail to get stupidly excited for the stinger at the end. I thought nothing could top Joe retrieving his prized "GreenDog: The Beached Surfer Dude" from his vault but this episode blew that away...just barely. And the sad truth is that, after seeing this video, I happened to come across "Britney's Dance Beat" at my local Goodwill and I bought that sucker just to immortalize my giddy memory of your episode stinger. So thanks for all the laughs and all the video game education - my life is richer (but two dollars poorer) because of it.
That Jackie Chan game on NES is so nostalgic for me, one of the like 3 games we owned. I loved it, despite not knowing anything of what was going on in it.
When you actually do cover Britney's dance beat, I wanna see another one of those endings with My Life in Gaming. Maybe one were they're getting revenge on Joe and Coury gets his game back. That would be very awesome.
Jackie Chan's Stuntmaster is my fave of the lot, i had discovered Jackie Chan only a few months before this came out and i was ALL over it. especially after watching First Strike, Who Am I? and Rumble In The Bronx on Cable, i was totally in love with Jackie's mix of Martial Arts and Slapstick comedy, to which i am still a fan to this day.
Man, I was a HUGE fan of Revolution X back in the day, I loved it, and I had it on basically every console I owned. It's not a great game in the slightest but there was something extremely charming about that game. I used to be able to get the True Ending of that game (save all 5 secret Aerosmith members) without breaking a sweat- though if you asked me to do it now, I'd have a hard time. I'm surprised you actually gave it a decent-ish review! Most people who talk about it rag on it endlessly!
Soupy Chang I have around 50 games for my Wii. 45 of them are good. The console has tons of hidden gems and other underrated ones. You just have to dig through the shovelware to find them. But if you do, it becomes one of my favorite systems of all time... And I have been playing games since the early 90's. I'm 31 now.
Soupy Chang People like you ruin a lot of the enjoyment of video games. Your reasonings are just nonsensical drivel that don't mean anything in the long run. The Wii has the most diverse and robust assortment of video games of any platform. Just because you personally didn't take the time to play anything other than Wii Sports and Chicken Shoot doesn't make Wii a bad console. And last I checked, the 360 and Playstation consoles come with composite cables. I guess those are shit consoles too, according to your reasoning.
Sneak King 👑 it was given out unexpected for free with fricken value meals. now that's what I call premium, quality, celebrity endorsements... remember a time in 2008 when you could look to the TV to see a happy king doing his royal duties as BK
There was going to have a Revolution X sequel and was going to have rap group Public Enemy in it, but it was cancelled. Also that Jackie Chan NES game had a bootleg called Mario 10 Kung Fu Mari and had Jackie Chan's head replaced with Mario's.
Do you know of other celebrity-endorsed games we should cover if we dare do a follow-up episode to this??
Jackie Chan clearly endorsed Hong Kong 97
arlo bubble Don't you mean Chin?
Ivan "Iron Man" Stewart's Off Road
I mean really; the fact you didn't include this is insane. :)

Would Apocalypse count? it stars Bruce Willis, but he doesn't play himself. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apocalypse_(video_game)

it was amazing

"Courey, I'm gonna have to get a little violent if you don't show me your games" is probably one of the best lines I've heard from your skits.
I love how Corey could barely keep a straight face during that
The Penn and Teller game is actually set up so that you're meant to either set up the tricks beforehand or there's some hidden way to input information into the game when you're demonstrating the controls to whoever you're planning to use said tricks on, and in case of Buzz Bombers, there's a number of cheat codes you can use to make the game easier for yourself and harder for the other player, another code to switch the cheat ability between controllers in case they want to switch and a video you can play for the other player once you've strung them along long enough. You can google the manual to see how they're actually meant to be played.
Joe's impersonations are the best.
Excellent editing Joe. Or Try. I couldn't tell the difference.
Funny how I can't tell between Courey and you, James.
Easily my favorite ending so far... Keep it up!
DID YOU KNOW KARNOV LOOKS BETTER IN COMPOSITE THAN RF???
*dying* xD xD xD
The best ending skit BY FAR! I love MLiG, it had me laughing so hard. Joes impression of Try was hilarious! This was a GREAT episode!
Can’t believe they paid millions for that wes flowers license. Superstars don’t come cheap
I'm not sure how they could afford someone with that kinda star power. I bet he wouldn't show up for less than 10 mil..The Western version of Richard Bronson doesn't come cheap.
Don't forget Scottie Pippin's Slam City for the 32x CD... Barkley Shut Up and jam is another...
That skit at the end was so funny
Danika Patrick in Sonic Racing always seemed totally out of place. On the other hand, Gary Coleman in Postal 2 seemed to fit perfectly.
Oh and that shitty Journey game.
noisyturtle don't forget bin laden. He was most excellent in postal 2 😂
Danica u spelled her name wrong u ass
My pick would definitely be William Shatner's TEKWAR for PC. It's a FPS from 1995 and Bill gives you pep talks before each mission
The kids have to learn about TekWar sooner or later.
Retro Game Players I remember the comic books it was pretty rad.
Nice Simpsons reference
I had great hopes for that game back in the day. It wasn't very good.
Loved the ending skit. Only thing missing is a 4 person fight with Dave fighting Coury.
28:03 Are we just gonna ignore the fact that Joe absolutely destroyed Coury's nose lmao
Love the arcade version of moonwalker. Used to push coins into that thing all the time when it was in the arcades and I have spent hours on it on my home arcade.
Does the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series of games count as celebrity endorsed games?
I would say yes, at least for people into Skateboarding... for me if not for the games I wouldn't know who he was. (BTW Love the first 3 games)
THPS is a sports game and they said they wouldn't cover those.

Nailed Cory's face too by the look of it.

who says violence never solved anything? :D
The theme music running in the gag was the best!
Great episode guys! Almost fell off my seat at Allen Iverson's Assault & Battery
Game sack is by far the best channel on TH-cam. My go to with so much content. Thanks for keeping us entertained for years.
I used to love Revolution X, but that game was such a quarter muncher. I just loved the gun controller, even if 9 year old me could barely reach it.
just like altered beast, the arcade version was far better than the home port
Nice video guys. Someone else has probably posted this, but I first played that Jackie Chan NES game on a famicom multicart where it was called something like “MARIO 11”, and the sprite had been replaced by a burly Mario.
No Apocalypse staring Bruce Willis ?!?!? best celeb game ever
I actually did play that it was not bad unlike the fifth element game.
Best ending sketch ever Game Sack!! The only games that comes to my mind is that 50 cent Bulletproof on the Ps2 and Blood on the Sand on the PS3.
That end scene was awesome. It was great that My Life in Gaming was able to make an appearance.
Best game channel on TH-cam hands down.
Well Jackie Chan by far had the best games of this bunch. Awesome to see MLiG make an appearance. 🤘 Great episode guys.
There are two Mortal Kombat style Jackie Chan arcade games too. They are little known, but actually pretty good.
Stuntmaster is great, hard as fuck though if you want to complete the game and get all dragons.
I think there was also that Jackie Chan cartoon and they made a game of it for the GBA and I think it was OK? Unless my memory is failing me... (very possible, quick google.) yes and it was pretty decent. I only played a few times but wasn't all bad.

Sooooo much nostalgia for Revolution X! I remember going to the arcade as a kid and dual wielding the guns...
LMFAO Allen Iverson. I have actually spoken to him before, it was the last phone call I ever took in my old call center job with a former employer. He is every bit the sophisticated gentleman you think he is.
Maybe in Moonwalker those are not kidnappers but just parents trying to hide the kids? lol
RoboTronix
God Almighty... My whole life has been a lie.
lol it's funny that only girls were rescued, probably cause Michael took the rescued boys to Neverland Ranch.

The Kiss pinball game is indeed pretty mediocre, not really bad, but also far from good. Same with Psycho Circus
You would be better off playing the physical tables.
Legend has it if you bounce basketballs off enemies faces while the background parralax scrolls it'll summon Dave from his Fed Ex job to say "That's right Joe."
Thanks Joe for keeping the Sack going. Dave, still enjoy these old episodes
That ending tho 😂😂😂
So glad you guys showed the PS1 Jackie Chan game. I loved that one, but hardly anyone else I know has played it. And I unfortunately no longer own it. I wanna scoop it up and play it again!
You guys should play Apocalypse starring Bruce Willis on the PS1. Is a fun game, and i used to play it a lot back in the day.
I was just about to mention that one.
I always thought that was based on one of his movies or tied in to Armageddon or something. Yeah, that would be an interesting one for GS to cover (alongside Wu-Tang taste the pain of course)
When i was younger i used to think it was based on The Fifth Element.
As I remember correctly, the game was going to have a different character that the player was going to control. The Bruce Willis character was going to be a NPC that would guide you and aid you on in the game. It was later changed that the player would just control the Bruce Willis character Trey Kincaid. Moonwalker is easily my favorite out of the ones mentioned in the video, had a good time playing that back in the day.
I want a game endorsed by Joe and Dave.
Hemang Chauhan They're in one of the Call of Duty games.
They do have their own Sega CD game
That's a good point though. As they close in on 200k subs, someone out there must've thought of a game scenario where you could play as Joe & Dave!
How could you not hit like on a Game Sack video with a special appearance from Coury and Try from MLiG ? I can only imagine how much planning it took to get you all together.

Forgot about Michael Jackson Experience on PS3 and Vita...(((
it came out on just about everything at the time, not just the ps3/vita lol
I had to click after I saw a fresh new succulent Sack teasingly dangling before me in my notifications.
Revolution X was the best, especially when the cabinet was super loud. Wish the public enemy version was made.

They made a game for the 16-Bit FMV episode which can actually run on a real Sega CD, it should be available to download (along with the rest of the episode) on their website. However, you can't win that game.
