Thank you so much for watching and the kind words. Sincerely made me smile and I appreciate your recognition of the effort put forth. I genuinely hope it helps a lot of people! Thanks again!
Great video. Allen! Could you please provide a follow up video talking about each of the 10 tips in details? Or provide some documentation? I really want to dive deeper into those tips. Thank you for your great work!
Hi! 😀 -- I'll try and note those for future videos. Until then, I do have a lot of documentation in the description of the video for pretty much every topic I covered. Another thing a lot of people do is pause the video at various points as they watch it and then go and read more about that specific topic and then move to the next part of the video, etc. So taking the video and really breaking each part down.
It’s definitely a good idea to get some practice with it. Honestly, it’s pretty fun once you get the hang of it! That’ll increase your demand as well as a majority of developers don’t work with portal widgets!
Very informative. Im a beginner on serviceNow. I have however worked in a company that uses Oracle ERP as the main system to run company operations. Im just thinking, where and how will serviceNow platform be helpful to such a company? Can it completement or replace Oracle?
Hi, welcome to the ServiceNow ecosystem! Regarding your question, there are some similarities between those two platforms, but there’s much more that would need to be known to fully assess which would be best to help that organization achieve its desired business outcomes. ServiceNow has many strengths outside of ERP related activities such as HR, Customer Service Management, IT Service Manager, Field Service Management, etc. - what tends to happens is that ServiceNow doesn’t always replace some of these existing applications and instead, complements them. So these two systems would be integrated and ServiceNow could help link ERP data to the rest of their needs that’s being met with ServiceNow and beyond.
Hi Allen, I have been a technical Content writer for about 2 years I want to switch in service now roles. How should I go. I desperately need a job within this year or month to be specific
