Best live performance she ever did. Absolutely untouchable pipes.

Sass kicks ass... many have copied or tried to copy that beautiful throaty, husky tone... but there's only one Sass Jordon and she's great!!!

I saw Sass in a bar after her album Racine was released. The cover charge was $8 and I've never seen a better show in my life. She never missed a note - rocked the place for 90 minutes. Love you Sass

That sounds great. I played "Racine" for months! I saw Sass once, in NYC performing as Janis Joplin in "Love, Janis". She was absolutely killer! I remember exchanging emails with her at the time via her website. Great show, even greater performer.

Love me some Sass. The woman has a serious set of pipes and can rock the tuck out of a song. It just baffles me how she never got big in the music scene outside of Canada but other far less talented musicians did? I don't understand that one. I've seen Sass live dozens of times and never saw a bad show. My favorite place to see her live was at Lulus Roadhouse in Kitchener Ontario

Lulus was one of our favorite places to play,i remember one time we played early on a multi band show at canada's wonderland and then we jumped in the vehicles and headed to lulus to a sold out show that nite !!! oh,i was her bodyguard back in the early days up until like md -late 90's !!!

One of the best live performances of this classic timeless rock and roll anthem by Queen Sass Jordan! Love her look and hair here in the 1990’s. What a natural stunning beauty she is and what powerful pipes. ❤ ♥️ 😍🥰😘🤩 🌟 ✨ 🎙️ 🎤 🎵 🎶 🎸 🥁

I traveled 3 hours from Cleveland to see Sass perform in Hamilton Ontario once, and I can only wonder how how big a star she might have become if her record company had promoted Rats or Racine in the manner they deserved.
She reminds me so much of Janis Joplin, and they emotion she puts into that song you know that the lyrics are very personal.
    Merry Christmas Sass.

I saw Sass (and her smokin' band) at the Cat Club in NYC ('94). She tore the roof off the place! Sass has immense talent that cannot be denied: amazing voice. Sexy as hell. Killer songs. C
Charismatic front person. Why she's not a household word will forever be the worlds greatest mystery! "Rats" hit the scene in '94, a year after "grunge" exploded. Can you imagine the pressure she must have been under? Fortunately, "High Road Easy" got regular air play in the states (at least for awhile). She didn't sound like anyone else (not a good thing in the music industry!), so her record company pulled the plug. The say timing is everything? For all the real music fans around the world, Sass Jordan is awesome, and the best kept secret! Rock on Sass----and do it like only you can!

I've never heard such a visceral song about living with someone who's an addict. Some years ago my family life was torn apart living with an alcoholic... and I totally connect with the feeling Sass expresses in the lyric, "It's pissin' down, it's pissin' down again". The incredulity you feel when you put yourself through the mill yet again, believing that somehow this time should have been different.

Wow! Wow! Wow!! What a privilege it was to be introduced to this powerhouse voice many years ago when she was touring RATS! I am a forever fan. To say she rocked the house would be an understatement. She played in her comfortable clothes, no shoes and left all of herself on the stage that night in 1994. Incredible!

Stevie produced Rats and co-wrote all the songs.
Believe that would be Brian Tichy on drums also.
If I remember, most of the guys in Stevie Salas Color Code played on Rats.
Largely why it's a bit bluesier and stompier than Racine was, the album just before Rats.
George Clinton made an appearance on it, too.
