Syu is the best guitarrist from japan for me and he is "just" inspiration for Midori (blond guitarrist LOVEBITES), Next song this band pls react 《the force of courage or ultimate sacrifice boths live songs 》 the lead vocal and the rest of band is a incredible too but Syu is special
Galneryus, another amazing metal band from Japan. I also recommend to react to Versailles, another excellent Japanese band with great musicians and two of the best guitarists in the world (Teru and Hizaki). BTW, Hizaki is a man. Japan has so many outstanding musicians (men and women)

Thank you for the reaction.....one of my favorite bands and see there are male bands in Japan (LOL)!! Syu is truly a gifted artist (wait till you hear him play the classics on that ax just sensational). I often wonder what a duet song with Midori/Miyako or Hal-Ca (Asterism) or Yuki (D_Drive) would be like!! This is a great band and one that is now lost often in the sea of great all female bands that dominate a lot of the J/Metal scene. As I said the LIVE version is even better but is 17 minutes (no issue for us old Iron Butterfly In-Gadda-Da-Vida listeners) which seems to be undo able for a lot of the younger generation (yes I include you in the younger part only!!!(LOL). Another great guitarist is Sugizo he is in a band called Luna Sea and now the reformed X-Japan. If you want to see how out there he is try Do-Funk-Dance (th-cam.com/video/7Fc7a4JzBEo/w-d-xo.html) where he blends Metal/Rock/Disco/Electronic/Jazz/Traditional Japanese, it is different!!!!
if you're going with Galneryus , angel of salvation has a short version(the one featured here) or the absolutely brilliant nearly 20 minute full version performed live. gotta give that version a try, also cant go wrong with hunting for your dream.
I want to see Lovebites and Galneryus amalgamate for a one-off performance, with Jill from Unlucky Morpheus on Violin. After watching it, I would happily pop my clogs - because nothing would be ever be as fulfilling after witnessing that.
I´m not new to Galneryus... It´s been one year since I had my first experience and it was great... The only problem is I´m a physical guy... all japanese related music CD´s are way to expensive.. An example a GAMMARAY or HELLOWEEN CD goes between 10 to 20 bucks, but a GALNERYUS CD starts at 32 and goes up to 50 bucks.
syu is great and respectable but is not the best guitarist in japan. his style is a bit old and sounds like yngwie malmsteen. yeah i know his guitar is so powerful to blow people away.

Musical masterpiece Syu’s guitar solo is mesmerizing.
Galneryus was my favourite band for long time (many years).
This song is way longer than this (this is a shorter version for sure).
This is my favorite band with Dir En Grey.
As maybe told you you could try The Force of Courage (Live) and for Dir En Grey maybe Vinushka Live.

This is a band that actually influenced members of LoveBites and many other Japanese bands. World Class no doubt.

Just discovering this band, they truly are fantastic.
Check out vintersea - befallen. the band is so underrated & the vocalist growling and screams are one of the most powerful i heard in metal music...
