- Torrential rains caused by Cyclone Remal have wreaked havoc and caused considerable damage in Manipur. Nambul and Imphal Rivers have already reached flood levels. In several low-lying areas of Imphal, river waters entered houses and inundated streets. The government has issued an alert and has asked people to stay cautious. Watch.

When rainy seasons started ,the govt agency will start constructing drains or cleaning drains not before the onset,roads constructions or black top of road start when raining season tend to blooms thus the Manipur state is.
If there were proper drainage system, the case would be a bit lower.
The drains are either covered so are too small in either depth and wide.
Small places like Khangabok is not merely affveted because of the good drainage. The difference!
