I think they're pretty sweet, especially the vocal rider. Audio is a very important aspect

Are you using any of the standard vMix audio functions like noise gate, compressor, etc?
Got DeEsser a while back based on the feedback in the various groups - it's highly rated by the experts in our community. The other plugin I purchased based on good feedback from the community is NS1 Noise Suppressor. Great for removing background hiss and other unwanted noise.
Discovered Vocal Rider, I believe, while watching some of Warren Huart's live streams on music production. Only concern is it works too well and removes some of the dramatic volume changes from live streams.
Will need to go check out those other plugins you've highlighted.
How come you've not used the DeBreath plugin that comes with the Vocal bundle? Paul is a self confessed breather and there are a few instances of breathes in this video.
Thanks again Paul and Tess (and not forgetting Michael).

great content . i got a question though, is there a way to remove vocals from a live streamed video? and restream that same live audio into a different vocal content.

      1. Download the video stream (youtube-dl)
      2. Open with Audacity (You will need FFMPEG for Audactity as well)
      3. Extract audio to desired format.
      4. Use the new audio track as source for the new stream

This is great and would work really well for some cases but do you potentially run the risk of sounding to perfect? I know that it sounds mental but sometimes it nice when someone shouts and it peaks but it shows that person is really excited and gives them a personality. If that makes sense 🤪

Kids v Dad // KVD Gaming I agree to a point. But some people get so loud that they can distort and provides a bad experience for the listeners. Providing the best audio and video experience to your customers is paramount in my book

So I have a focusrite scarlet interface . I do a bit of zoom conference music . Will these plugins work ?

    • @PTZOptics
      @PTZOptics  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Yes, but for these plugins they are VST3 so you need a software like vMix to use them with Zoom.

When you want to tech others about audio, please make sure that you can make your own audio sounds. Voice in this video is TERRIBLE.

      Hello!
If you're experiencing issues with no audio input from your Focusrite interface in vMix, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. Here's a systematic approach to diagnosing and fixing the problem:
      1. Check Focusrite Hardware
Power and Connection: Ensure that your Focusrite interface is properly powered on and securely connected to your computer.
Input Source: Verify that the microphone or instrument is correctly connected to the Focusrite interface, and the input level is appropriately set.
      2. Focusrite Software and Drivers
Driver Installation: Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your Focusrite interface installed on your computer. You can download them from the Focusrite website.
Software Settings: Check the Focusrite Control software (if applicable) to ensure that your inputs are correctly configured and not muted.
      3. Computer Audio Settings
Default Device: Go to your computer's sound settings and check if the Focusrite interface is set as the default recording device.
Volume Levels: Make sure that the input levels are not muted or too low in the computer’s audio settings.
      4. vMix Audio Settings
Audio Input Selection: In vMix, ensure that you have selected the correct audio input device. It should be your Focusrite interface.
Input Levels: Check the audio mixer in vMix to see if the input levels are registering when you use the microphone or instrument.
      5. Test with Another Application
Try using your Focusrite interface with another application (like a DAW or even just a simple recording tool) to see if the issue is specific to vMix.
      6. USB Ports and Cables
Sometimes, the issue can be as simple as a faulty USB port or cable. Try a different USB port or cable to rule this out.
      7. vMix Audio Settings Reset
If you've recently changed settings in vMix, consider resetting the audio settings to their defaults and then reconfiguring them.
      8. Reboot
After making changes, especially to drivers or system settings, a reboot can often resolve lingering issues.
      9. Consult vMix and Focusrite Support
If the problem persists, consult vMix’s support documentation or forums, and consider reaching out to Focusrite’s customer support.
By methodically working through these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with your Focusrite audio interface in vMix.

If you really want that radio sound you might want to use a multiband compressor.

Real time? You have 1024 Samples latency?!

    • @ekobra
      @ekobra 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@nick dixon With vmix you won't get around 1024ms no matter how you try

So I made it for myself that I listen to an interface with my daw directly in the background with effects and so on, and an interface (from another manufacturer) with the input of the first coupler and send it directly to vmix. that works perfectly
