PS for the record, I'm an aging Northeast college instructor who appreciates a good educator, which Mr Worthington clearly is. Hats off.
Mr. Worthington definitely comes across as a seasoned woodsman and an awesome teacher.

Love the description of determining the difference between varmint vs deer trails. I always struggled with that earlier in my outdoors journey until I started really off-season scouting and marching entire trails. And once the trail leads to a coyote den, you'll start realizing things lol

I have listened to every podcast and watched every piece of content y’all have done with Mr. Worthington. I have never learned so much about specifically hunting and deer hunting strategy, stand placement strategy, etc. specifically regarding funnels in my lifetime. Everybody talks about funnels funnel this funnel that but now I have such a greater understanding. Really hoping to get into the class. You guys keep on rolling out the incredible content!

All the technology we have today can not replace this man's wisdom. When I started hunting, there was no internet, and hunting season was half as long as it is today.
I'm thankful for the advantages of technology, but it will never give us the wisdom of boots on the ground. Get out there and walk it! Leave the technology inside and the ATV home. Thank you for the content!

@@thesouthernoutdoorsmen very, I hunt up in the northeast and pinch points are subtle due to all hardwoods and no crop fields , I struggle finding natural funnels because the land is open

It's was so nice seeing a video of woods and what some of these people are seeing and thinking. This got me thinking and I'm excited. Also I'm not promoting it but Huntstand has a trail trace so I turn it on and walk all the trails in my area in the summer so that they are mapped out for me
Been a dream of mine since i was a kid learning to hunt has been to meet mr worthington and talk hunting one on one ill definitely be booking a class with him just to pick his brain, epic episode fellas!!

Yes, age and wisdom! I am 53 and to me it's sad that many, probably most hunters today are not true, wise hunters. Hunters today where I live in GA. would be lost without their bait and 24 hour surveillance cell cameras. It's legal but no reason to brag or show of what you got when it most likely would NOT have happened without all the technology. I still don't bait and I still get mature bucks, I refuse to take the easy way out like most people do. If I get a nice buck it's not because of bait and technology! It's just so sad to see what hunting or so-called hunting has become. I enjoy watching people that actually know their stuff!!!

those woods are so wide open. I would never expect deer in something so open in south Mississippi. i would be looking for something thicker for them to travel through to avoid the open stuff.

So why would you want to face nw do you check and see what the dominant wind is for the season and area.
Im new to this only been hunting 3 years now and am trying to figure out how where when and why i would hang a stand in a certain place facing a certain way to account for the wind so your scent isn't blowing in your hunting area so forth so on
He is talking about setting up for when a cold front is pushing through which will bring NW winds. Bobby hunts nearly exclusively based one cooler temps so there is a higher odds of bucks being on the feet at any point of the day.
